Street Art France
It takes me a while to save up enough street art photos to make a decent post out of them. The following are a few art pieces that I came across in my travels. They date back to over a year ago now. I hope you enjoy.
First up is this "cool cat" that I apotted in Chamonix France during the trip there with my sister. It was located on the outter wall of a restaurant in the hip and trendy part of town with all of the cool bars and restaurants. It looked like a commissioned piece to me.
Let me zoom out a bit to show it in its entirety. "Cool Cats" is probably the name of the bar/restaurant. Thats just a guess, but I'm going with it.
Right adjacent to Cool Cats was this similarly colored, but much more amateur and rudimentary piece.
Its a sort of a collage of shitty tags with some creepy faces thrown in here and there. Nonetheless, I kind of liked it for its grungyness, if nothing else.
The next one was seen in Rouen France. I don't know who this guy is but I'm thinking that he's a writer or maybe a bearded Bill Murray?
Next one was also in Rouen, seen near the previous one above. It had scrabble pieces attached to, which I saw in a few other places around town as well. I don't know what it says.
This little character was also in Rouen, seen on the same day. It reminds me of an old school vampire, like a young Dracula or something.
Next we are moving into pieces that I saw in Paris. This first one was from way back. At the time Elon Musk was going-on on Twitter about how bad Bitcoin was. He was likely trying to drive the price down, while buying up Bitcoin to hold on Teslas books. You know, some market manipulation crap like that. We all know his game at this point.
Paper and glue style girl seen in the Montmartre district of Paris.
Last one seen in the same part of Paris. A cheshire style, happy smiley cat with wings. I like this one quite a bit. It's fun and cheery and bring me joy.
That's all I got for you this time around. Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments.
Why not never minding travelling to Kenya too for more?
I would like to travel there. Maybe one day
You saved up a great selection of StreetArt 😊 very cool finds.
The Paris ones I had seen too.
Thanks for sharing, have a wonderful Friday!
Yeah, I remember that you had been to the Montmartre district so makes sense that you saw them.
Still have so much StreetArt from my Paris visit… I haven’t shared them all yet. Will do when I have more time to go through my albums and sort them hahaha 😜
Have a nice weekend!
Looking forward to seeing them. Have a good weekend as well
Thanks 👋🏻😊

I never knew that France has beautiful street arts like this
That's lovely!
The city is full of great art!
Wait!! is that RIP Elon Musk? Lol! The person behind all this art is so creative. The paintings are beautiful 😍
Yeah its a very clever piece :)
Wow! You sure found some beautiful art. It looks like it's in some beautiful locations too. The photo you showed with the creepy faces on it was creepy, but the Dracula looking one probably spooked me even more lol. Nethertheless, I enjoyed looking through your entertaining and interesting finds even if they are a year old. 😉 Have a wonderful weekend @leaky20!
I really liked the Dracula piece. I like creepy art like that haha
You do find some good street art, and have a nice way of capturing the images:)
I try to look out for it. There was a lot of great street art in Europe in general
Yeah, I know! I love street art, but most times when I see them, I'm with hubby and he likes to take those photos so I leave him to it :)
I see. Dividing up the work. Smart!
Hehe! In a way
I have moments 😆🙃

some great stuff there, often the simple small ones are so much better than the big murals
Yes I agree. It really depends on placement I think. A small piece thats very well placed can be a real treat to see. Sometime I imagine putting up a piece of art and I'll look out for good placement spots around the city if im out walking. It's kind of fun when you find a spot and think "that would be a perfect location to place a piece of art."
I know exactly what you mean!!
Very cool selection of StreetArt. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Bonne journée à toi et j'espère voir une autre fournée de StreetArt venant de France bientôt 😀
You're welcome 😊 glad you liked them
