Found on Athol Street, Queenstown | CCC'S Street Art Contest #273

Now move away from Christchurch to see murals from other regions of the country.
You probably might expect Queenstown to have lots of murals but not really. I was very luck to find this on 14 Athol Street, Queenstown when I was worked in the town and was looking for a public toilet 🚻.
The mural is titled Rejuvenate and it was painted by Tess Sheerin.
This mural was an inspiration for Tess during a time tough mental breakdown of her life with the bee representing simple things in life, the moa a big flightless bird symbolizing it is okay to rest and do nothing and the kiwi bird with stairs representing her physiological journey.
I am not only to find this mural but also the meaning behind it.
Here's a link to the mural if you care to read up more about it:https://mentalhealth.org.nz/stories/story/tess-sheerin-a-story-of-rejuvenation
With this mural I am entering for this week's contest.
We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great

Reading the meaning, it makes a lot of sense looking at the images again. At first, my mind was trying to figure out what the artist is trying to convey. Looks simply beautiful overall, great spot :)
I've had these photos for months and never understood what the mural meant until yesterday when I read up on it before sharing it. It really has an interesting meaning to it and I appreciate murals more if I get to know the meaning behind it.

Yes yes, you understand them better and know where the artist is coming from with creating that piece of artwork.
Great wall done by this artist with this original style for drawing animals. I like it. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Have a great day
