Tallinn revisited

avatar

It has been 4 years since I last visited Tallinn, I was hoping to see lots of new paint on walls, I visited old hunting grounds in the Balti Jaama Turg Area away from the old town.

I was disappointed, what was a once vibrant hipster area, to me now looked run down and drab, a few bits of previously snapped murals are still hanging around but faded. not many of the little bars and eateries remain.

So here a few bits I viewed

_DSC3301.jpg Deeds not words, new as of 2024, and I have not one single clue what is being carried by the girl

Interlude for some awesome vintage advertising posters in the market hall

Without seeing this in situ painted on an electrical switch gear box, one might think it is a shot of an actual block of flats.
Very impressive

As I mentioned there was not a lot of good stufff about

Epic mural girl in white dress carrying a black swan, perhaps far more meaning than the other captures.

Black Swan, little left to imagination, even in hindsight.

Then along comes something that blows you mind, well hope you find relevance, I haven't.

Cool selection of StreetArt especially the girl with the black swan. Too bad that the neighborhood has lost its charm. I like the design of the posters, great work. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

Have a great week

The block of flats looks very real, I thought it was a photo you'd taken of it, not of a mural, very good! It's so disappointing when once-vibrant areas start going downhill!
That lady seems to be carrying the black swan by its neck...weird!
