Porota na diskordu i hlasující v anketě mívají tradičně těžké rozhodování. Tentokrát však bylo obzvláště těžké. Zhodnotit osm výborných fotografií není žádná legrace.

The jury on Discord and the voters in the poll traditionally have a difficult time making decisions. However, this time it was especially difficult. Evaluating eight excellent photos is no fun.

Pro změnu začneme v Praze :-).
Ne v lomu, jako posledně, ale na jednom malém náměstí na Kampě, kam nás pozval @actifit-godfish. Lezoucí miminka jsou ve večerním osvětlení působivé. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

For a change, we will start in Prague :-).
Not in a quarry, like last time, but in a small square in Kampa, where @actifit-godfish invited us. The crawling babies are impressive in the evening light. The photo won second prize.

Západy slunce jsou v naši soutěži tradičně vysoko hodnoceny. Určitě si je toho vědom i @cezary-io, který nám nabídl pohled na pole v Osterley Park v Londýně (UK). Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce června.

Sunsets are traditionally highly rated in our competition. @cezary-io is certainly aware of this, as he offered us a view of the fields in Osterley Park in London (UK). The photo won a special prize with the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photo of the month of June.

@klub-wloczykijow mě ujistil, že má dostatečnou zásobu fotografií z jeho putování po národních parcích USA. Dnes nám tedy představuje Horseshoe Bend v Glen Canyon u Page (Arizona). S trochou nadsázky se zeptám, nepřipomíná vám ta „kamenná hlava“ trochu současného prezidenta USA?
Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

@klub-wloczykijow assured me that he has a sufficient supply of photos from his travels in the US national parks. Today he presents Horseshoe Bend in Glen Canyon near Page (Arizona). With a bit of exaggeration, I ask, doesn't that "stone head" remind you a little of the current US president?

Další vzpomínková fotografie od @ansoe. Tentokrát nás pozval k Phe Kyauk (B.E) Fall u Pyin Oo Lvin (Myanmar). Fotografie získala první cenu.

Another commemorative photo from @ansoe. This time he invited us to Phe Kyauk (B.E) Fall near Pyin Oo Lvin (Myanmar). The photo won the first prize.

I když jsem to tak brzy nečekal, máme tady další pozvání od @phortun na ostrov Mauricius. Z jeho zimního pobytu na ostrově vybral pohled na horu Le Morne Brabant na jihozápadním cípu ostrova. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

Although I didn't expect it so soon, here is another invitation from @phortun to the island of Mauritius. From his winter stay on the island, he chose a view of the Le Morne Brabant mountain on the southwestern tip of the island. The photo won the second prize.

Po nějakém čase navštívíme Moravskoslezské Beskydy. @zirky nás pozval na rozhlednu (věž kaple sv. Anny) pod vrcholem Kozubová. Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

After some time, we will visit the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains. @zirky invited us to the lookout tower (St. Anne's Chapel tower) under the Kozubová peak. The photo received a prize for participating in the competition.

Z Moravskoslezského kraje se přesuneme do kraje Zlínského. Konkrétně do ZOO Lešná, kam nás pozval @hairyfairy. Jeho fotografie tak trochu připomíná „gymnastické cvičení družstev“ :-). Fotografie získala druhou cenu.

From the Moravian-Silesian Region, we will move to the Zlín Region. Specifically, to the Lešná Zoo, where @hairyfairy invited us. His photograph is a bit reminiscent of a "gymnastic exercise for teams" :-). The photo won the second prize.

Poslední zastávku si uděláme na jižní Moravě. @wahacoce nám nabídl pohled na vesnici Pálava a Novomlýnské nádrže z hradu Děvičky. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.

We will make the last stop in South Moravia. @wahacoce offered us a view of the village of Pálava and the Novomlýnské reservoir from the Děvičky castle. The photo won the third prize.

Poslední jarní výlet s ATW a spoustou zajímavých míst je za námi. Malá „smršť“ udělených druhých cen je známkou velké kvality a atraktivnosti soutěžních fotografií. Uvidíme, jestli tento trend bude pokračovat i v dalších kolech soutěže.

The last spring trip with ATW and a lot of interesting places is behind us. The small "whirlwind" of second prizes awarded is a sign of the great quality and attractiveness of the competition photographs. We will see if this trend will continue in the next rounds of the competition.
