Tak se nám ten šestý ročník soutěže pěkně „rozjíždí“.
Šest soutěžních fotografií je tak akorát aby nebyl nedělní výlet s ATW krátký a zároveň neunavoval.

Musím naše soutěžící pochválit. Kvalita, atraktivita a rozmanitost soutěžních fotografií je na tak vysoké úrovni, že hlasující v anketě i na českém diskordu mají hodně „těžkou práci“ s výběrem té nejlepší fotografie.
I have to commend our competitors. The quality, attractiveness and diversity of the competition photos is at such a high level that the voters in the poll and on the Czech discord have a very “hard job” with choosing the best photo.

Sokolov v Karlovarském kraji se v posledních letech (po útlumu těžby hnědého uhlí) dost mění. Kus historie města však zůstává. Třeba místní zámek, ke kterému nás pozval @wahacoce. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.
Sokolov in the Karlovy Vary region (Czech Republic) has changed a lot in recent years (after the decline of brown coal mining). However, a piece of the city's history remains. For example, the local castle, which @wahacoce invited us to. The photo won the third prize.

Pískovcové skulptury kam se podíváte. To je Valley of Fire State Park v Nevadě (USA), kam nás pozval @klub-wloczykijow. Možná „objevíte“ skrytou „tvář“ v dočervena zbarveném Aztéckém pískovci :-). Fotografie získala druhou cenu.
Sandstone sculptures wherever you look. This is the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada (USA), where @klub-wloczykijow invited us. Maybe you will "discover" a hidden "face" in the reddish-colored Aztec sandstone :-). The photo won the second prize.

Následující objekt je vlastně „miminko“. Teprve loni mu vystavili „rodný list“. O čem je řeč? O Neville Bonner Bridge v Brisbane (Austrálie), kam nás atraktivním večerním snímkem pozval @vcclothing. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.
The following object is actually a "baby". It was only last year that they issued a "birth certificate". What are we talking about? The Neville Bonner Bridge in Brisbane (Australia), where @vcclothing invited us with an attractive evening photo. The photo won the second prize.

Klasika, která se nikdy neomrzí. Západy slunce prostě „dostanou každého“. Tento je z ostrova Mauricius. A kdo nás sem pozval? Přece @phortun, který zde trávil dovolenou s malou dcerou a ženou.
Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce května.
A classic that never gets old. Sunsets simply "get everyone". This one is from the island of Mauritius. And who invited us here? After all, @phortun, who spent his vacation here with his little daughter and wife.
The photo won a special prize with the right to participate in the additional competition for the best photo of the month of May.

Než se dostaneme z Mauricia do polského Krakova, nastane tma. To ale vůbec nevadí. Večerní osvětlení dodává budově Sukiennice osobité kouzlo. Příhodný okamžik skvěle zachytil @cezary-io. Fotografie získala první cenu.
Before we get from Mauritius to Krakow, Poland, it will be dark. But that doesn't matter at all. The evening lighting gives the Sukiennice building a special charm. The opportune moment was captured perfectly by @cezary-io. The photo won the first prize.

Český čtenář nejspíše tuší, proč se mi v hlavě vybavilo, u naší poslední zastávky, jméno Dalibor. Nevím, jestli je to fakt nebo jen legenda, ale z Kozojed, kam se teď podíváme, měl právě historický Dalibor pocházet. Kostel sv. Martina, který nám představil @actifit-godfish, si možná tuto historickou postavu pamatuje :-). Fotografie získala třetí cenu.
The Czech reader probably knows why the name Dalibor came to mind at our last stop. I don't know if it's a fact or just a legend, but the historical Dalibor was supposed to have come from Kozojedy, where we will now visit. The Church of St. Martin, which @actifit-godfish introduced to us, may remember this historical figure :-). The photo won third prize.

Dokonalý „mix“ urbanismu a přírody. Tomu říkám další povedený nedělní výlet s ATW :-).
A perfect "mix" of urbanism and nature. That's what I call another great Sunday trip with ATW :-).

No, taky jsem měl trochu štěstí, že v tom kole zrovna nesoutěžil nikdo z Filipín nebo Venezuely - přetlačit jejich "komunitní hlasování" by bylo značně obtížné, ne - li nemožné :)
