It is a good thing if we desire in our hearts to do good. It is a person who has the fear of God and who wants to please God with all his heart that would want to know if doing something will glorify God or not. To please God is the goal of everyone who is a true disciple of Jesus Christ.

Seeking to know what pleases God will make us live a life that brings praise to the name of God. Many people care less about the things of God. They don't mind doing anything they wish to do. But the Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That means that we will get wiser as we fear God the more. So, anyone who wants to life wisely in this world should take to the word of God.

Watching Movies can be good and can also be bad. When we do anything that we do, we should seek to do it in a way that will honour God. There is a way that we can watch movies and it brings dishonor to God. It is not that watching a movie is a sin but the attitude with which we do that will determine whether it is good or bad. Also, there are movies which are morally unacceptable. We should not watch those types of movies as children of God. Holiness should be our watchword in anything that we do.
