Wars, starvation and many other disasters are common occurrences in the world today. Every day we receive the news of natural disasters happening in various parts of the world. Many people are living in displaced camps because of insecurity. We are witnesses to the many problems in the world in recent years. What are we going to do to save our selves and that of our loved ones from the problems in the world? It is only a trust in God that will help us.

Why are there so many calamities in the world? Why the sufferings and the problems? Why is the earth causing disasters like tremors and earthquakes? Why the natural disasters? Why wouldn't we have lived our lives peacefully without all these problems? Is there no remedy for these problems?

God is not a wicked God. He created all things good. The Bible says that God saw everything that He has made and behold they were all very good. The word of God has made us to understand that there is no evil doing with God. He is not as wicked as humans. There is no evil in Him. He is a good God and has always done good works.

The disastrous situations on earth are caused by the evil ways of man. The natural disasters are the judgement of God over the evil things that man is fond of doing. As long as men choose to live in disobedience to God, they will always experience these troubles on earth. When our Lord Jesus Christ shall come, He will restore all things and we will not experience evil again.
