Forgiveness Of Sin. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

One of the doctrines of Jesus Christ is that we should forgive others. We should forgive one another. We should not hold back sin against anybody. We should forgive what they have done to us. We must be forgiving. God teaches us to forgive because he himself forgave us our own sins.

Jesus Christ said we should forgive those who sin against us seventy times seven times. That is really many times. That implies that there should not be any sin or offense which we should not forgive. We should forgive others happily. No matter the number of times they offend us.

When we are expecting God to forgive us, we should not sin willfully. We should not commit grievous sins. There are sins which are unpardonable. They are sins that are spiritual. They have no forgiveness. These kinds of sin, we should avoid. We should not commit sin willfully. The Bible has told us that there are sins which cannot be forgiven.

The apostle taught this to the early christians. They taught them to avoid some things. They were warned against the spiritual sins. As christians, let us learn to be disciplined and to avoid every sin. That is the will of God for us. We cannot play with sin at will and expect God to always smile on us. Let us live holy unto God.
