Forgiveness is what God expects us as christians to do. We are to forgive those who offends us. Just as God has forgiven us out trespasses, we should forgive others whatever offense they have done to us. The Christian life is also a life of forgiveness because we are not to hold back anything which someone has done to us. In the Lord’s Prayer which Jesus Christ taught us, he said forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Mark 11:25-26 (KJV) And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Our forgiveness will not be complete if we keep calling to remembrance what others have done wrong to us. We should try and forget whatever offense someone might have done to us. We should not keep on making reference to the offenses others have caused to us.

In this video Bro Eli Soriano pointed us to the fact that God forgives and forgets our sins. He does not call to remembrance what we have done wrong. Bro Eli told us that our God has a perfect memory and yet He forgives and forgets our sins. So, we who do not have as good a memory as God, why can't we forgive what others do to us.

We should try to be the type of person God has called us to be. Bro Eli made us to understand that humans have the tendency of remembering what is bad. They easily forget what is good. This should not be our attitude as christians. Let us learn to forget what offense people have done to us.
