No dejes Hundir tu alma! || Don't let your soul sink!

For some, this may be a complaint, but it isn't. This is an internal conversation, an intimate dialogue between the psalmist.

We learn from David that he doesn't hide his sadness, his anger at his mood. He speaks to his soul as if it were a person and reminds it where to direct its attention, its gaze. This shows us that we are not the only ones who sometimes feel this way. Even the men of God, the heroes of faith we see in the Bible, also broke down before God. But there is something that makes the difference, the big difference, and that is not staying in the pit, but telling ourselves where we can find hope.

Today we learn that we must wait on God and not on circumstances. Although sadness often wants to speak, it is we who must be in control and direct our gaze toward God instead of letting our emotions weigh us down. Let us raise the voice of faith even when we see no way out. What if we don't feel like it? Even when we are in the midst of darkness, hope always comes from the hand of God.

Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you troubled within me?
Hopefully, I will yet give him thanks,
my salvation and my God.

Para algunos quizás esto es una queja pero no lo es, esto es una conversación interna un diálogo íntimo del salmista.

Aprendemos de David que él no oculta su tristeza, su enojo por su estado de ánimo, habla a su alma como si fuese una persona y le recuerda a donde debe dirigir su atención, su mirada. Esto nos muestra que no somos los únicos que en algunas ocasiones nos sentimos de esa manera, hasta los hombre de Dios, los héroes de la fe que vemos en la Biblia también se quebraron delante de Dios pero hay algo que hace la diferencia, la gran diferencia y consiste en no quedarse en el pozo si no decirnos a nosotros mismo donde podemos hallar la esperanza.

Hoy aprendemos que debemos esperar en Dios y no en las circunstancias, si bien la tristeza muchas veces quiere hablar pero somos nosotros quienes tenemos que tener el control y dirigir nuestra mirada hacia Dios en lugar de dejar que nuestras emociones nos des bien, alcemos la voz de la fe aún cuando nos vemos salida, ¿Si no tenemos ganas? Igual aún cuando estemos en medio de la oscuridad, la esperanza siempre viene de la mano de Dios.
