Today, God invites us to fight a battle, but not with human strength. It is a battle fought in the mind and the Spirit. The Apostle Paul said that many things rise up against God, such as thoughts, ideas, or pride, even when we think they are wise, but in reality, they are things that distance us from God.

We have the choice to follow "our own success," we can "follow our own truth," or only do what "makes us happy," regardless of the rest. Many times, these thoughts, no matter how beautiful they may seem, distract us from the focus of Christ. That is why Paul urges us not to give free rein to our minds; we must filter all thoughts through the word of God.

When we read "Captivating Thought," we are talking about the fact that not everything that occurs to us is true, and we must submit our thoughts, every emotion, or action to the feet of Christ. Let Him be the filter, and if it doesn't pass, we discard it.

Today I urge you to take Christ's authority over your own mind and declare the truth over your life, over your thoughts, and thus obey Christ with all your mind and heart.

5 Casting down imaginations and every pretension that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Hoy Dios nos invita a pelear una batalla pero NO con fuerzas humanas, es una batalla que se libra en la mente y el Espíritu. El Apóstol Pablo que muchas cosas se levanta contra Dios como por ejemplo pensamientos, ideas u orgullo, aún cuando nosotros pensamos que son cosas sabias pero en realidad son cosas que nos alejan de Dios.

Tenemos la opción de de seguir "Nuestro propio éxito", podemos "Seguir nuestra propia verdad" o solo hacer solamente aquelo que "Nos haga feliz" sin importar el resto. Muchas veces esos pensamientos por mas lindos que parezcan nos desvían del foco que es Cristo, es por ello que Pablo nos onsta a que no demos rienda suelta a nuestra mente, todos los pensamientos debemos filtrarlos por la palabra de Dios.

Cuando leemos "Cautivar el pensamiento" hablamos que no todo lo que se nos ocurre es verdad y debemos someter nuestros pensamientos, cada emoción o acción a los pies de Cristo, que él sea el filtro y si no pasa, lo desechamos.

Hoy te insto a que tomes la autoridad de Cristo sobre tu propia mente y declarar la verdad sobre tu vida, sobre tus pensamientos y así obedecer a Cristo con toda tu mente y tu corazón.
