What Does The Bible Say About Baptism. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW
Baptism is a commandment of God for the church in the New Testament. It is the core doctrine which the Lord Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to observe. Everyone who truly believes in Jesus Christ and accepts the doctrines of Jesus Christ is to be baptized.
We are not in the position to question the doctrines which Jesus Christ handed over to us. What we are to do is to obey the commandments of God. We are told to be baptized so, let us get baptized. We should not raise queries regarding the subject of baptism in the church of God.
Baptism is administered to a person who has accepted the teachings of Jesus Christ. Someone who has not accepted the doctrines is not qualified for baptism. When a person has been saved by believing in the Word of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, he or she is to be baptized.
Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Let everyone who believes in Jesus accept to receive baptism
Baptism is a necessity for everyone who wants to obey the commandments of God
