Is Praying Alone Enough. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

We need the help of God everyday of our lives. We cannot do anything of our own. It is God alone who is sufficient for us. The sufficiency is not of ourselves, it is from God. The Bible has told us that. It is not that we can account for anything of ourselves. Our sufficiency comes from God. God is enough for us in all things. So, prayers are the media through which we reach out to God to receive His help.

When Jesus told us to pray, he also told us to be believing. We need to believe God for everything. We should not come to God with a doubtful heart. Let there be faith in us that God is able to do the things that we are asking from him. A faithless person cannot receive anything from God. It is written in the word of God that without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore, for our prayers to be effective, we must have faith in God. We must not doubt God. We must believe in the ability of God to do our request.

Faith without work is dead. Prayers without any action of faith are equally dead. We cannot stay down and keep praying that we want to go up without any attempt to get to where we want to go. Our prayers will be productive if we apply the adequate work to back up what we are asking from God. Only praying alone won't do it, we must believe and back our faith with work.
