This is the first Liotes Mission in 2026. Yesterday, we started the Liotes Power up Challenge for 2026 and today, we would like to ask you what your target is for this year in terms of Hive Power:

as i replied before on your other post , double my HP i have so that would be +/- 15k in December 2026 , and maybe try to get your witness and mine in the top 50 😁

As I have said a few times, I'm here for fun. Not investment or business growth. Where time-based targets are crucial.
But in the spirit of this mission, my HP target is 987. For no other reason than it's the next Fibonacci sequence number above my starting point of 641. I'm happy to have smashed 377 and passed 610.

I set my goal at 20K.
Now I have 13.5K.
I believe that I will achieve and thereby contribute to the Power Up challenge that you set the other day 😊
I think that it won't be easy to achieve that but it's great to set ambitious goals!
If I don't have success with the author and curator awards, I always have PUD 🙂 and with some $, the goal is easily achievable😀
But it's not my intention (at the moment), I'd like to play a little and earn HP from daily work on Hive.

Yuhh I have several goals in this year. Of course it's finally reach 5500 HP, finish someone educational targets. And several others but it worth a separate post.
5500 HP is about dolphin level, correct? That would be nice!

Since this goal is just 5 K $HP big I might revise it up. Let's wait and see.
After all, last year's increase was 7,593 $HP.
That should be quite easy to achieve. You will get about 4K just from curation and organic growth. So you need only 1K from post rewards :-)

I have two possible HP goals:
On the one hand, the one achievable with relative comfort and with which I would be satisfied if I end the year like this: 23k.
On the other hand, the one I would like for being a nicer figure: 25k. I also see it as achievable, but a whole year is a long time and anything can happen.

Based on the Liotes Challenge records, I increased my staked HP by about 6.7k last year to hit 20k. I guess my aim this year is to hit at least 27k HP staked then!

Hmm I think it depends on the price of Hive. It's easier to accumulate if it stays low. Hehe! I currently have around 11k, and I gained about 4k in 2025, projecting the same increase, I guess that means I might reach 15k at the end of the year.
If there are no planned HP power-downs, then aim higher. The snowball has already picked up speed…

Hehe I get what you mean about the snowball. It's a hobby for me so I am not aiming/targeting anything - it's just a plain projection. I think it's really hard to forecast how many votes my posts get actually.
With 11K it will be easier to grow by 4K this year :-)

I like short term goals… so first getting 20k in which isnt very far so after that maybe 25k ? So lets see if I can end 2026 with at least 25k and what happens after that is profit!!!

Right now I have a bit over 7K HP, and I’m planning to have at least 20K by the end of the year. With Hive at these prices, I simply have to do it...

I currently have 4189 HP. I will strive to reach 5000 HP this year and if I reach that before year-end, I would then target enough for Dolphin status. This is a stretch goal but I think it would be worth it.
It would be nice to see you as a dolphin by the end of 2026!
Now to create a plan to make it happen and then follow through on the plan. !LOL

I don't have a HP goal in 2026. I'll continue to add small amounts of HP daily to my staking account plus what comes from curation and author rewards in the posting account. I may add more HP during the year or I may power down some HIVE from the posting account, depending on the conditions during the year.
There are a lot of maybe's here but I think it's not a bad idea to keep all the options open and look at how things evolve...

I want to reach 30k HP, although I think I can go beyond that. But I think that's fine, a very interesting milestone for me.

I think I will be aiming for 23k HP. It's a bit less of an increase compared to 2025, but I have a feeling that the year will be quite busy for me so I revised it down a bit.
That's a good way of going about it. It definitely comes down to how much time you can dedicate to hive.

I don't set any specific goals, but looking at last year, it could be somewhere between 7-8K HP, so I'm aiming for 40K HP. Unless there's another hard fork... 😂

I think with low hive prices it will more challenging to increase the HBD stakes.

It's interesting to see how many cagey comments there are in response to this challenge. I am also a cagey commenter and have not set a specific target for my HP balance in 2026.
Right now I have 10,780 HP, so I would expect to have 12,000 HP by the end of the year based on current trends if all else remains equal... However, if the HBD debt percentage rises to a certain level, I will sell off my monthly interest income, putting 50% into HP. If that scenario were to kick in and continue for eight months or so - without actually triggering the haircut - then I could see myself ending up with 15,000 HP by the end of the year.

I think that just with curation and organic growth you might reach close to 12K. 15K looks like an interesting challenge however.

I'm going to go with an easy one of 13K which I should do easily. Could it be much, much higher? Probably, but I had set 13K by the end of last year and since I didn't get there. It's a great starting point!
The important thing is to set a goal that is achievable. If you shoot over the target, nobody is going to complain :-)
