I'm stuck in Delhi, India, and wanted to say hi
Friends at Hive, here I am once again with a video. When was my last video here? Well, maybe 3Speak has the answer.
Let's see if I come back, let's see if I find in Hive the focus and concentration that I was always able to generate while enjoying writing in this ecosystem. Let's see if discipline and I become friends, in a life that is truly nomadic today.
I'm speaking to you from Delhi, the capital of India, where I was stranded on the very day I was leaving. At 11:30 p.m. on March 1, an email said that my flight might be canceled. At 2:00 a.m., the cancellation of my flight on March 2 at 8:55 a.m. was confirmed. And the internal resistance began, the focus I no longer had vanished, my enormous desire to return to Europe was put on hold, and only one big question remained: How do I get out of here?
There are many of us in this situation, and I know that the first thing you think is, “Buy a flight right now, whatever it costs.” The problem is that there is no certainty that any flight will be effective, and so, with limited money... what to do? Wait and trust or wait and buy?
Three intentions brought me to Hive today with this video:
1- To briefly introduce myself again. You already know who I am, but for me, saying “hello” again is essential, since from 2023 to now, I feel that who I was and who I am now are worlds apart.
2- To tell you that I will most likely start a power down for economic reasons.
3- To share with you two fundamental lessons that the “end” (or rather, the hint of the end) of this journey has taught me.

He quedado varada en Delhi, India, y quería saludarlos
Amigos de Hive, heme aquí una vez más con un video. ¿Cuándo fue mi último video por aquí? Pues quizás 3Speak tenga la respuesta.
A ver si regreso, a ver si encuentro en Hive el enfoque y la concentración que siempre pude generar mientras disfrutaba de escribir en este ecosistema. A ver si la disciplina y yo nos amigamos, en una vida hoy realmente nómade.
Les hablo desde Delhi, la capital de India, en donde quedé varada el mismo día que estaba yéndome. 23:30 del 1 de marzo, un mail decía que mi vuelo quizás se cancelaría. 02:00 am confirmaba la cancelación de mi vuelo del 02 de marzo a las 08:55 am. Y la resistencia interna empezó, el enfoque que ya no tenía se esfumó, mis deseos enormes de regresar a Europa se detuvieron en el tiempo, y sólo quedó un gran interrogante: ¿Cómo salgo de aquí?
Somos muchos en esta situación y sé que lo primero que se piensa es: “compra un vuelo ya mismo, salga lo que salga”. El tema es que no hay certezas de que ningún vuelo sea efectivo, y entonces, con un dinero limitado… ¿qué hacer? ¿Esperar y confiar o esperar y comprar?
Tres intenciones me trajeron hoy a Hive con este video:
1- Presentarme brevemente otra vez, ya saben quien soy, pero para mí, decirles “hola”, de nuevo, es fundamental, ya que desde 2023 a este momento, siento que quien era y quien soy tienen una gran distancia entre sí.
2- Contarles que es muy probable que inicie un power down por cuestiones económicas
3- Compartirles 2 enseñanzas fundamentales que me ha dado especialmente el “final” (o mejor dicho, el amague de final) de este viaje.

I thought as much - that's no good at all. I know tons of people stranded or having to change plans and spending a small fortune to get home. It'll eventually settle down ... hope you can keep moving soon.
Hi again Belén! 🤭 Well, I'm one of those people who believes everything happens for a reason, and the universe definitely had India as your destination for this season. I'm sure you'll make the most of these days stuck here and get something positive out of it, and writing for Hive again is already one of those things. I've always thought you were one of the most interesting people on Hive; you have a special vibe and a passion for life and the world that I truly admire. I agree, everything happens for a reason, but at the beginning it’s just difficult to surrend.
Yeah… the thing seems to be very bad really. I’m praying for this to stop as soon as possible, for all the people that have nothing ti do, and yet is “paying” the consequences.

These things that happened and messed up your plans are completely out of control... I can't imagine how hard it is to be stuck for 5 (now probably more) days, but stressing about it will not help at all...
On the other side, you did a good job with this video, so maybe you can use the free time to make more of these... 😀
