AHHHHHH! NOOOOOOOO!
A few years ago, I saw a commercial that just tickled me, and given its viral popularity, it also tickled others living in Canuckland (aka Canada). It showed a woman happily walking down the street enjoying the beautiful day, when suddenly she stopped and looked down, her eyes widened in horror, and she let out a blood-curdling scream. What had she seen?
A dead leaf on the sidewalk.
Those who live in the northern hemisphere, beyond the ice wall, can immediately recognize this moment. Many of us, I reckon, feel a tinge of sadness because the leaf on the ground heralds the coming of Fall, and the dreaded Winter season.
As I was walking around the other day, a leaf fell from a tree right in front of me and I chuckled to myself, remembering that commercial. So let this be my screech of desperation.
Winter is coming.

I was shocked at this point wondering why she screamed then I remembered it's a commercial. Gosh, is that how much the winter bites over there? Hehe. It's a circle you all come back to yearly. So I hope you are prepared because...winter IS coming! 😄 !LUV

(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoI take it you don't have much snow where you live? You have no idea how much some of us dislike Winter, but if you're into Winter sports like skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tobogganing, then things can get fun! You can also visit cabins in the woods and enjoy the cozy snowy atmosphere.
I live in a tropical area and envy snowy lands sometimes 'cause it gets extremely hot here. Now a visit to cabins in the woods sounds cosy!
When winter arrives, we're all pining for tropical places. Many retirees do just that and get second homes in the south to spend the winter there. We call them snowbirds because like birds in winter, they migrate south :)
😄
I may live in a milder climate, but I also am beginning to dread that first snowfall--though I do get a bit wistful when leaves start falling. It is my favorite season, autumn, though one filled with reflection and sometimes regret.
I used to live in Ontario and the Autumn colors are outrageous there. Like you, the season used to fill me with reflection and nostalgia, but I later realized I was just tuning in to the wrong channels and could dial up a wider array. Pumpkin spice lattes helped a lot
I'll have to try that :)
😅
Oh yes... winter is coming. And it's not for the faint of heart for some of us. (Like Minnesotans and Canadians!)
Too funny! What's really hilarious is that I cry at the end of summer, dread winter all through the fall (which is always gorgeous and full of wonderful activities here), and then... much to my surprise... I actually enjoy winter, with its crazy winds and sub-freezing temperatures and blizzards and such!
Thankfully, I'm living in a tropical rainforest, so winters are not so bad but bad enough. Still, you're right and there's a certain charm to the season. I'll try to access more wintry places this holiday season. 🥶
This is awesome!! Nice shots and edits mate, keep doing this things where you are so good at!👍👍
Fall is almost here! 😁
