Celebrating Indian Independence day on 15 August

Hello, and greetings. Happy Independence Day to all my Indian brothers and sisters. Here I celebrate 15 August with food in the colors of our Indian flag. The orange for strength, The white for truth, and the green for peace. I also made dessert with berries in the design of our Norwegian flag.
It is so simple mostly the time I used was to take photos and arrangement.
now that @qurator announced the top hive chef theme Colorful. I will enter this post for that contest. It is not bright bright colors abut I don't want to use artificial colors. Just managed with food similar to the colors orange green and white.

Washed cauliflower and broccoli in hot water with salt. cut a sweet potato in slices I used only one.
Washed vegetables are put in the steamer stand.
I used a normal pan to steam them.

I steamed vegetables for around 4-5 minutes.
Arranging hummus and vegetables:

cof.jpg

first, chickpeas hummus.
Then white color from cauliflower.
and in the center green.
Used spoon handle to make little design.

coff.jpg

Here I arranged steamed vegetables first putting the hummus plate in the center.
The broccoli, then cauliflower, and at the edge of the plate sweet potato and baby carrots.

20230817_201814.jpg
Used 3/4 banana 1/2 cup frozen red currant, and around 20 blueberries, half nectarine.

co7.jpg
Here not so much work just cut a banana into thin strips arranged them according to flag shape and arranged berries. Here I should use a few more blueberries. we learn by making mistakes.

I would love to have that plate of exciting hummus varieties. I have made different kinds of hummus but not cauliflower or peas. What a great idea. Yum. As always your plates are so pretty.

I don't like artificial color as well.

Sending warm wishes.😊❤️
