Casa de Muñecas is a small book that stands out in our bookshelf because of the color they chose for its cover. When I saw the title I thought of a fairy tale where dolls came to life, then I realized that I was not entirely wrong.

When reading Henrik Ibsen's Doll's House you can feel how in all the acts (3 acts in total) he describes the characteristics of the house and how it is evolving, according to the circumstances noting the social status of the characters and placing the reader in the time in which it develops.

Casa de muñeca was an 1879 play by the Norwegian Henrik Ibsen, which was collected in the book of the same name published in Cuba in 1990 by the Cuban publishing house, Pueblo y Educación. A theatrical work that caused a stir being one of the most controversial dramas of the mid-nineteenth century exposing the situation that the bourgeois women of those times were going through, giving it an atypical outcome that manifested itself against what was implemented in the bourgeois regime and its society.

The main characters are those who are involved in the plot, Helmer and Nora. The character of Nora breaks with the stereotypes of the time and evolves towards the development of the being. In the end they realize that there was no relationship between them, that it was just a whim and that they were really strangers.

The author uses realistic drama where each character tells his own story, Helmer a lawyer who takes care of the business of a bank, breadwinner of the house, Nora the wife, housewife in charge of the household, the other characters enter and leave with total elegance, the play is narrated with a direct and free style, placing the reader in a real context and easy to be interpreted.

I loved the work, I identified the panorama thanks to the style with which the author transmitted the problem and gave it a solution although contrary to any social paradigm of the time, provoking sensuality and criticism, he incorporated tools for the new generations and the not so new ones as well.

He showed that chains are broken and that life is renewed, giving new opportunities, that a new beginning with oneself is possible.

An intelligent reader would get lost between the lines of this sympathetic writer, because the emancipation of women is one of the most controversial issues of all time and Casa de muñeca is considered the flag of feminism where the schemes of the time are broken.

Perfect work for theater lovers and those who advocate that every day society is more just and there is equal rights, for those defenders of good literature and their contributions.

Obra teatral que causó revuelo siendo uno de los dramas más polémicos de la mitad del siglo XIX exponiendo la situación por la que atravesaban las mujeres de la burguesía de esos tiempos, dándole un desenlace atípico que se manifestaba en contra de lo que se implementaba en el régimen burguez y su sociedad.

Los personajes principales son los que se ven envueltos en la trama, Helmer y Nora. El personaje de Nora rompe con los estereotipos de la época y evoluciona hacia el desarrollo del ser. Al final se dan cuenta que no existía relación alguna entre ellos que era solo capricho y que realmente eran unos extraños.

Me encantó la obra, identifiqué el panorama gracias al estilo con el que el autor transmitió el problema y le dió una solución aunque en contra de todo paradigma social de la época, provocando la sensura y las críticas, incorporó herramientas para las nuevas generaciones y las no tan nuevas también.

Demostró que las cadenas se rompen y que se renueva la vida, dando nuevas oportunidades, que es posible un nuevo comienzo con uno mismo.

Un lector inteligente se dejaría perder entre las líneas de este simpar escritor, pues la emancipación de la mujer es uno de los temas más polémico de todos los tiempos y Casa de muñeca es considerada la bandera del feminismo donde se rompen los esquemas de la época.

Obra perfecta para los amantes del teatro y los que abogan porque cada día la sociedad sea más justa y exista la igualdad de derechos, para esos defensores de la buena literatura y sus aportes.
