¡Hola amigos lectores! Hoy me paso nuevamente por acá para traerles esta publicación que llevo tiempo pensando y es acerca de esas sagas que terminé abandonando por uno u otro motivo. Acá vamos.

Esta es una saga que amé un montón. Entonces, ¿cual fue el problema? Muchos libros. Les explico, la saga principal consta de 6 libros, estos los leí. Después tiene una precuela de 3 libros más, que también leí. Luego sacó una secuela con otros 3 libros más, de los que solo llegue a leer 2, sip, no llegue a leer el final, no porque no me gustara, sino porque creo que me saturé. Aparte, la autora escribió libros autoconclusivos con relatos cortos de varios personajes que complementan el universo. de los que llegue a leer unos 2 o 3, ya ni me acuerdo. Esto no es todo. También publicó una secuela de la precuela que tenía muchas ganas de leer en su momento, pero tampoco lo hice. Fue una excelente saga, pero la autora la exploto demasiado y hasta ahí llegó mi amor, no creo leer nada más de este universo.

Yep, I didn't get to read the end, not because I didn't like it, but because I think I got overwhelmed. In addition, the author wrote standalone books with short stories about various characters that complement the universe. I read two or three of those, I can't even remember. That's not all. She also published a sequel to the prequel that I really wanted to read at the time, but I didn't. It was an excellent saga, but the author exploited it too much, and that was the end of my love for it. I don't think I'll read anything else from this universe.

Esta saga es bastante antigua y salió con el boom de los vampiros. Pero se fue extendiendo y si bien se mantenía interesante por momentos, volvía a decaer por otros, ya que siempre rondaba el mismo tema y nunca salía de ahí. Creo que llegué a leer 10 libros, un montón. Y no tengo idea de si fueron saliendo más, nunca lo volví a consultar. Llegó un momento en el que mi amor por estos libros se termino y hasta ahí llegue. Aunque ocasionalmente pienso en ella y en cómo habrá terminado todo, sin embargo, ya no me acuerdo casi nada y releerla no es una opción. Así que lo siento, moriré con esa duda.

This saga is quite old and came out with the vampire boom. But it kept going, and although it remained interesting at times, it would decline at others, since it always revolved around the same theme and never strayed from it. I think I read 10 books, which is a lot. And I have no idea if more came out, I never checked again. There came a point when my love for these books ended, and that was it for me. Although I occasionally think about it and how it all ended, I can't remember much, and rereading it is not an option. So, I'm sorry, I'll die with that doubt.

Esta saga la comencé a leer en mi era de amor por los ángeles, pensé que iba a encontrar material interesante, pero fue muy morbosa y turbia desde el principio, y aun así leí 5 libros, aunque ninguno tenía sentido realmente. No son libros que me gustaran, ni sé por qué llegué tan lejos, de verdad es que no tenía ni pies ni cabeza. Totalmente absurdo, con personajes que morían y eran fantasmas, pero después volvían a la vida. Es así de confusa como suena. No la recomiendo para nada, es más, me arrepiento de haber llegado tan lejos con ella. En fin, no la lean (?

I started reading this series during my angel obsession phase. I thought I'd find some interesting material, but it was morbid and disturbing from the start, and yet I still read five books, even though none of them really made sense. I didn't enjoy them at all, and I don't know why I got that far. Honestly, it was completely nonsensical. Totally absurd, with characters who died and became ghosts, only to come back to life later. It's as confusing as it sounds. I don't recommend it at all; in fact, I regret getting that far with it. Anyway, don't read it.

Leí el primer libro y me había gustado, no sé la razón de porque no la continué, pero hoy por hoy no me dan ganas de hacerlo tampoco, así que a lo mejor no era para mí y hay que aceptar que hay libros que son para abandonar y ya. Al menos me di la oportunidad de conocer el primero. Hay tantas opciones que a veces se siente absurdo intentar leer algo que ya no vibra con nosotros. Mi reflexión al respecto de este tema es esa, anímense a abandonar libros si no les convencen, no les gustan o ya no están en ese mood.

I read the first book and liked it, I don't know why I didn't continue, but today I don't feel like doing so either, so maybe it wasn't for me and we have to accept that there are books that are just not for us. At least I gave myself the opportunity to read the first one. There are so many options that sometimes it feels absurd to try to read something that no longer resonates with us. My thoughts on this subject are that you should feel free to abandon books if they don't convince you, you don't like them, or you're no longer in the mood for them.
