My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 224 - Afternoon Coconut Reflections - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, June 21, 2025

Warm greetings fellow reflection Hunters! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

For my very-late entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 224, I want to share a nifty batch of photos that I took yesterday in the late afternoon, of several coconut palms, that are growing along one of the trails here, reflected in my trusty portable mirror. I love taking shots looking from ground level up into the tree tops, and this stand of coconut palms never disappoints, especially when the sun is shining.

What I appreciate most about this this sort of bottom-up perspective using my mirror is that it looks like little ground portals opening to a magical arboreal world. Coconut palms are such a lovely subject for this kind of reflection photography because their elegant fronds create such a striking contrast against the sky. I hope that y'all appreciate them as much as I did when I took them! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
