Hola apasionados amigos de esta maravillosa ¨ShadowHuntersCommunity¨: Muy feliz de estar nuevamente acompañando a mi amiga @olgavita en este genial ¨ReflectionHuntersContest¨:  Este es de esos concursos que me encanta participar dado que es la excusa perfecta para salir de casa en busca de reflejos para fotografiar; en esta oportunidad las fotografías de reflejos los ha tomado mi esposa Gabriela en su paso por la ciudad de ¨Buenos¨Aires¨: 


Hello passionate friends of this wonderful ¨ShadowHuntersCommunity¨: Very happy to be once again accompanying my friend @olgavita in this great ¨ReflectionHuntersContest¨:  This is one of those contests that I love to participate in since it is the perfect excuse to leave the house in search of reflections to photograph; On this occasion, the reflection photographs were taken by my wife Gabriela during her visit to the city of ¨Buenos¨Aires¨:

Viví más de la mitad de mi vida en esta hermosa ciudad, y antes de conocer a mi esposa vivía solo en un departamento que estaba en el corazón de capital; en esa época trabaja en una empresa de comercio que me mantenía ocupado gran parte del día, como único día libre tenía el domingo y era cuando salía a caminar por las calles céntricas. Algo que siempre me apasiono fue ver los hermosos edificios de época, y el encanto de este radica en la mezcla de estilos y épocas de sus construcciones


I lived more than half of my life in this beautiful city, and before I met my wife, I lived alone in an apartment in the heart of the capital. At that time, she worked for a trading company that kept me busy most of the day. Sunday was the only day off I had, and that's when I would go out for walks in the downtown streets. Something I've always been passionate about is seeing beautiful period buildings, and the charm of this one lies in the mix of styles and eras of its construction.

Las fotografías que hizo mi esposa de los lugares que visito me han traído muchos recuerdos, ver esta hermosa plaza y sus alrededores me regresaron a esos ¨años¨¨dorados¨ de mi juventud, en que los domingos visitaba este lugar para pasar horas sentado en los bancos de ¨mármol¨, mientras disfrutaba de la vista y de exquisitos ¨cubanitos¨ rellenos de ¨dulce¨ de ¨leche¨


The photographs my wife took of the places I visit have brought back many memories. Seeing this beautiful plaza and its surroundings brought me back to those "golden" years of my youth, when I would visit this place on Sundays to spend hours sitting on the marble benches, while enjoying the view and delicious "cubanitos" filled with dulce de leche.

El primer día que desembarque en la ciudad algo que me llamo poderosamente la atención fue la enorme cantidad de vehículos que hay en la vía pública, las veces que tenía que cruzar la calle 9 de julio era una verdadera odisea, aunque también tengo que admitir que era encantador ver la habilidad en que los conductores manipulaban los automóviles


The first day I landed in the city, something that caught my attention was the enormous number of vehicles on the roads. The number of times I had to cross 9 de Julio Street was a real ordeal, although I also have to admit that it was charming to see the skill with which the drivers manipulated their cars.

Estas tomas las hizo mi esposa con nuestra cámara ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ y ha sido hermoso poder revivir estos emocionantes recuerdos de mi paso por esta hermosa ciudad, que siempre tendrá un rinconcito muy especial en mi corazón


My wife took these shots with our Nikon Coolpix B500 camera, and it has been wonderful to be able to relive these exciting memories of my time in this beautiful city, which will always have a very special place in my heart.
