Puddle in the Valley
The town is still quiet as we head down the valley one early morning in October. Then suddenly, a mesmerizing sight appeared. The hubby slowed down without a word. He knew I'd love some snapshots. I was thankful, of course, and clicked. Clicked. Clicked.

Solar street lights, water tanks, parked trucks, the sky with some shades of grey, blue, and yellow. Just amazing how the puddle captured so much, and so effortless at that!

"Are you done yet?" the Farmboy wanted to confirm.
"Almost," I said. And took some more. Click. Click. Click.

He released the brake, slowly stepped on the accelerator, and we were rolling once again. But I just had to take one last shot.
"Why don't they improve this street? It's so inconvenient." I once asked when we were waiting for our turn to pass through that section before.

"I heard it's still under a dispute case. It's a titled property, but the government agency responsible for its settlement couldn't do something about it. Hence, it remains like this." The hubby explained, pointing at a placard hanging on the wall of the small shack where the area's title number and such were printed, indicating it is private property.
"Aah..." I couldn't say anything anymore.
Little did I know that one morning, I'd be appreciating it for the reflections of the sky and everything else on the accumulated rainwater. But truly, that part of the road is not the easiest to traverse. It usually causes traffic as vehicles have to slow down to get through it. One lane stops until the other passes. It makes me wonder if the dispute will ever be resolved. Maybe in the next generation? Hmmm... I shouldn't be stressed at something I have no control over, lol!
Anyway, I was glad to have captured these on that particular morning. Alas, I have something for the Show Me A Reflection initiative by Olgavita.😍

Let's say that fix roads costs money and no one wants to spend them 😂
I heard an other typhoon is coming, is that true??
Haha, that's true though.
I didn't read or check thr weather forecast, but I hope there will be no more strong typhoon coming.
I really liked how you found beauty in such a simple moment. That puddle capturing the sky sounds peaceful, even with all the trouble going on with the road. It’s nice how you still appreciate the view while dealing with the problems around it.
Thank you. Sometimes the simplest moments show or teach us something :)
You have worked very hard to find these beautiful and unique images that I really like.
Thank you, although we were just passing by and it showed up before us :)
Thank you. Always a pleasure to participate :)
Take care!
Thank you, I appreciate you :)
You have written many things here but the only think caught my attention is click, click and click. Hehe.
Pictures were not bad and reflection looks fine and ok.
Haha, that just came out of the blue, and I had to type it 😅
There were beautiful reflections there 😊
Thank you. Nature always surprises us :)
