Of Cyclists, Trikes & Such

All the while, I thought yesterday was Wednesday then I realized it's only Tuesday, hence the TTT on my previous post. The hubby says my mind's on a different timezone, lol!

But yeah, today is the Hump Day, and let me share some captures of shadows somewhere in the lowlands during our family trip, so these are mostly along the roads as we were headed to Vigan in Ilocos Sur.

It was around half past 7 in the morning when we were passing by Candon City when these snapshots were taken. I adore the shadows of the fence. Unfortunately, it was a little late when I took the shot so I only got a portion of it. In the second photo, the huge trees shaded almost the entire street. Their trunks did cast what I see as an M-shaped shadow.

We continued our journey and at around 9:30 am, we were behind the trike when the picture below was captured. The shadow of it looked like a capped bottle or something similar. Also seen in the distance are shadows of the bus and other things. And I saw someone on the left side of the road.

When he was closer, I took a shot upon noticing the cool shadows of his bike and its side cart.

A few seconds later, there were others too. The shadows of the tricycle and a motorbike on the left side of the road are quite nice although they aren't as sharp as I wanted them to be since we were on the other lane when these were taken.

And we saw cyclists far ahead of us. They look tiny from where we were at that time.

My dahling Farmboy sped up so we caught up with them. I could see their shadows (including their bikes) on the road and could not resist taking pictures. They were too close to us (we were on the same lane) so I couldn't get better shots.

Meanwhile, the pictures below were taken by the husband two days ago in the neighboring county. The sun was so bright and glaring that there were no clouds in the sky to hide it.

He was on his motorbike and because the heat was too much, he sought shelter under the shade of trees along the street. He then took this shot which had shadows of fencing along the roadsides.

And there ends my non-contest participation in Round 349 of the Show Me A Shadow by Melinda. Thank you for the initiative which allows us to share our hunts😉

Until next time and have a glorious day!

Pictures are my own and of the Farmboy. 27112024/02:30ph

The shadows are just wonderful, especially the cyclists who were so unaware of their photos being taken.

Wow bikes can drive in line and not all spread on the road there! 🤣

If we all want to live a good and healthy life, then we should take care of our health in the same way.

Shadow pictures are good and I liked all of those. But I think this one is the best shot among the shared ones.
I hope you enjoyed the whole time while capturing those pictures.
