Nature's Beauty in Blur

Magandang buhay!

We were chuffed yesterday morning because the electricity in the area was finally restored. It only took the power company 3-4 days to fix our lines. It was a long wait but we are still thankful. Well, we survived the few days of maddening inconveniences brought about by the outage.

Anyway, I was cleaning my drafts when I found these reflection photos uploaded months ago but hadn't been published on-chain so I figured today was their time😊

They were just a few snapshots taken while we were driving along the streets of Vigan during a family trip in December last year.

I love mirrored images of nature on waters and I always try to take photos whenever I see one. The above pic and the one below were photographed around midday and in the same river. They are quite blurry as they have been captured while the car is speeding but nature's beauty is seen in them.

We were coming from the beach on the evening of 31st of December when I noticed the reflections of the sky on the calm water. I was amazed at the orange hues of the clouds that have been mirrored, and while I knew then it wouldn't be a good shot, I went for it anyway, lol! The same goes for the succeeding pic which was edited to make it more distinguishable😅

And yep, as you may have guessed, this is my non-contest participation in the Reflection Hunting challenge by Olgavita.😉

Meanwhile, I've been with my parents since Monday afternoon and it felt like time flew by quickly it's Friday already! (Time check 2 am). I will be off to DD soon to take a few days' rest while we await for further advice on Mom's treatment. We are hoping and praying for the best🙏

Have a glorious day, frens!

The reflected orange cloud is very nice, and it's difficult to get food photos in a moving car too

I think the blurry effect didn't allow me to see the peak beauty of the reflection. It would be better if there were no blurry effects.

Unfortunately yes, since the car was on speed, I can only take these shots once. 😉

Glad to know may kuryente na ulit. It sucks when experiencing a power outage for a long time. Lalo kapag super init nang panahon. Four days is still a long time but at least, di umabot nang week, or worst, month pa.

Anyways, these photos are all beautiful, I love this kind of photo din especially if the subject is nature. Ang ganda lagi nanh kakalabasan nyan.

Oo din sis, Parang ang hirap gawin yung mga household chores pag walang kuryente. Marami pang lugar ang hindi narestore ang kuryente so hopefully maayos na rin yung mga linya nila.

Salamuch girl :)

Hello @jlufer, hope you have been doing great.

The recent destructive super typhoon impacted our place, but we are glad things are returning to normal.

Thank you :)

Your pictures have a great blurry touch to it. A feeling evokes like you're sitting in a moving car. I come from a village called Magundi in India. We have a lot of power cuts on a daily basis so I completely understand how you feel. 🌊

Thanks. We were in fact in a moving car when these shots were taken that's why they are all blurry 😊

That must be some good news, I thought restoration of power could take so much time.
I hope a miracle happens for your folks 🙏

Indeed, it would be disastrous if electricity was not restored. Thank you and we are praying for the same things🙏
