when you see things around you it is common to not even notice the shadow they cast. and if you do notice the shadows they all make sense at the time and place because you see what is causing them. but sometimes if you only see the shadow and not the object causes them it can be quite challenging to picture what it is that is making the shadow. i took these two at an outdoor mixed sports ground

Those are cool and clean shadows. It's true, sometimes it's not easy to guess what casts certain shadows.
i knew what the objects were when i took the shot but have since forgotten how they looked and now i can't figure out how they were constructed
