🏛️ The Coffee Library by Muse: Modern Industrial Interpretation in Medan

Hellooo architecture and design enthusiasts. Last weekend I went to the newest coffee shop in my city. I think the design and architecture of the building are very good and modern.

So, I want to share my experience to the coffee shop. The Coffee Library by Muse which is located at

📐 Architecture: Elegant Tropical Geometry

The Coffee Library by Muse comes with a charming facade. The concrete roster wall is the main visual element that not only beautifies the appearance, but also functions as natural ventilation. Exposed concrete elements and simple geometric shapes present a tropical industrial feel that fits perfectly with Medan's climate.

The use of modern typography on the "LBRY" logo on the facade emphasizes the identity of a clean and timeless contemporary minimalist.

🎨 Interior Design: Artistic and Warm Industrial

As soon as you enter the room, visitors are immediately greeted with a warm industrial atmosphere. Dark ceramic floors, unfinished concrete walls, exposed pipes, and indirect lighting are the hallmarks of the interior design.
Wooden elements on the tables, black iron on the chairs, and classic modern chandeliers create a harmonious visual contrast. Minimalist display shelves display art decorations, interesting books, and green plants that make the atmosphere feel more alive.

☕ Bar Area: Professional and Clean

The main bar area looks very neat with polished concrete tables, open storage shelves, and symmetrically arranged coffee brewing equipment. The vertical iron grid on the ceiling is an artistic highlight as well as a visual balancer for the bar area.

This open design gives a professional, transparent, and friendly impression to every visitor who wants to enjoy their coffee.

🌿 Atmosphere: Comfortable for Working or Relaxing

The atmosphere at The Coffee Library by Muse is perfect for anyone, whether for working, small group discussions, or just enjoying coffee in the afternoon. With soothing acoustic background music, and a room layout that is not cramped, this place is able to provide tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of Medan.

The presence of artistic murals on the walls provides a touch of modern art that enriches the character of the room.
