A stop to corruption
To make the world better, a lot of things need to be changed with regard to the sector of the world involved and the kind of mishaps or problems they are facing.
In Nigeria, which is my country, a lot of things are happening that are draining the country and making life so hard. In fact, as it appears now, it seems like everything is wrong in the country because there are killings at a high rate, fraudulent acts are now taken as a normal lifestyle, and that is the same thing as corruption in the government house, which a lot of us have agreed is the root of the other problems ravaging the country. If corruption is removed, other problems will no longer be active in the society. So this is one thing I would want to change if I had the power to do so.
Corruption is simply the abuse of power for personal gain, and this is exactly what is happening in my country. Corruption means channeling people’s resources into your own pocket because you have more power than them. Corruption is when you are supposed to be of help in a situation, but because you have power over the person, you use the opportunity to make a living out of the person’s predicament, all because you have power over them.
In the government sector in Nigeria, it is a competition of corruption. Instead of them serving the people who voted them into office, they master-plan how to earn more while pretending to be helping the masses.
As it is currently in my country, if the federal government says they want to distribute $100,000 to a certain age group of citizens, the only money that will actually go out is $100, while the people in power will channel the rest to their personal accounts. The worst thing is that they will still announce to the world that they have distributed the full $100,000.
With this act, the citizens become very angry and go on to earn their living in dubious ways because they see that the government is taking what belongs to them, and they cannot do anything about it. This has led to a lot of atrocities happening in the country.
I wish I could put a stop to all forms of corruption, both from the grassroots to the top levels. The standard of living in Nigeria would take a U-turn for the better.

The rate of corruption is so alarming, and it's not only people in higher positions of authority who exhibit these behaviors. Even in our local communities and amongst individuals. It's almost becoming a normal thing, and it is so bad for all of us.
Yes, this is true.
The act is everywhere and a change from the grassroot need to be done too just as I mentioned in the last part of my article.

Great write up sir but I don't corruption will ever stop oh 😂 even the Bible it happened lol.
The truth is that this corruption is not just in the higher places or higher positions, it's within us too, it's in the University system, the secondary School system even in the primary school system.
Corruption take place every single day on the roads, in the market, in the family, in the churches and even in our homes. The truth be say, corruption bad, it is terrible but it has eaten deep in to us that it can not be eliminated. No matter how hard we try it won't.
Our politians or political leaders are corrupt, very true but remember they was time they were like us and we're all shouting say no to corruption 😂.
The truth there's no part of the world today you won't find corruption but the question here is how well can they manage it in other not to really affect the well being of the citizens. Country like Nigeria no send your papa, the problem behind this corruption thing is MONEY if money will just vanish on the surface of this Earth then I think corruption can be stopped.
Even the rich wants to get richer and the poor wants to taste what having money feels like, the rich ones are fighting to be the richest and the tallest in the world and it keep making them engage in some many corrupt activities, they people don't care who suffers in the end as long their children and wives are safe, all they want is the bag and that's it for them.
Now poor people are even more corrupt than our leaders, they are just so ready to come out of poverty and live a good life just like the rich people do. And at that point they don't even care about the consequences of their actions all they are seeing is that 1million naira cheque that was presented to them. My people even if na you, you go grab am because that kind opportunity no come twice, other people dey wey go rush am if you deny.
I could go on and on but lemme stop here, God will keep helping us in this Nigeria. Thank you so much for sharing with us, please don't get me wrong I just dropped my opinion about the corruption in the world especially in Nigeria where our leaders no send us.

Corruption is at the grassroot and at the top too. A tackle to both can result to its reduction.
