Meet a Newbie; A Journey of Growth Begins

Hello everyone, Hope you are doing very well and that your day went very well. It is so beautiful to be here on the Hive Blockchain; this is very beautiful because I am here to do what I love doing.My name is Victory Sunday Akpan, and I am from Uyo, a local government area in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I was born on the 6th of November, 1996, and that is why my business name is Sixeleven Couture. I studied vocational education at the university, which helped me sharpen my fashion skills, cooking skills, and also helped me build capacity to become a great educationist. I am a fashion designer, and I own a fashion house that makes beautiful outfits and also trains people to be the dreamed fashion designer they want to be. Fashion for me is the opportunity to be originally creative, and I have seen myself going through this process for a very long time, and I am not even tired of it. I know that my earnest love for fashion designing was passed down from my grandma; since mom did not want to continue, I held onto it, and trust me, I am excelling so well in it. I love the way fashion designing makes me feel; it makes me think outside the box and also makes me confident in the fact that anything can work.

It makes me learn and research more, thereby making me up to date when it comes to sewing, fashion, and materials.I am so happy to be a fashion designer because this path has made me build quality relationships with quality people that have made my life very productive.

I make my work my life because it has also put food on my table and also gives the opportunity to reach out to other people with their needs. I believe in being strong and also believe in making other people strong. So by doing fashion, the money helps me reach out to people.

Do you know that I also love cooking? Cooking is something very common, but it takes people with passion to cook very well. I don't want to mix fashion designing with the catering business; that is why I just cook for myself and my immediate family, but whenever I am done cooking, people who eat my food are always appreciating the fact that I do it very. I remember that I did not like eating when I was a kid, and my mom usually told me that any child who did not really love eating when growing up would always know how to cook very well; no matter how superstitious that sounded, I think it has come to reality. I mean, I get new ideas on how to cook better every day, and I am always ready to put those ideas into action, and that has really helped my cooking skills.As an educationist, I find it very easy to transfer my fashion knowledge to other people and make them understand the fact that things are not really hard. I want to thank my sister @somuchgrace and my friend @uyobong for their support and encouragement in becoming a hivian.I wish myself the best of things on the Hive Blockchain and wish to learn, earn, and also build good relationships on this Blockchain.
