OPPORTUNITY COMES BUT ONCE

I have always believed it boils down to your character and manners of approach, allow me to explain; let's say I allow you to run my company as a manager on the basis that you're my friend or even a random person I met that came for an interview, and after occupying the position you started going south from our agreement automatically you have lost the opportunity of remaining as a staff in my company. Now this is why I don't like the statement "opportunity comes but once" I sacked this particular manager and a friend of mine is looking for a manager for his own company, unless I hate that friend I won't send my former manager there because I know he's going to ruin or run down the business.
This whole thing goes both ways, a guy or lady walks into my establishment and has the opportunity to work there and has a good record or report and has worked for a long time, when or if another opportunity comes for him to go higher I would not hesitate to nominate him for more slots and "opportunities" because he merited it except I am a bad person.
Growing up, my Dad told us a lot of stories, and one of them was the story of one of his friends who was promoted until there was no space for promotion,n, and he was recommended to a sister company. At the same time, it still does not mean that the opportunity will always be there; it will never always be there. As I said, your attitudes, character, discipline, and positioning will determine if opportunities will come, but once or you can move from one level of opportunity to another. It's all up to you and
I stand to be corrected.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. See you soon. 🤗

You are correct we can create opportunities with how we behave
Your take on opportunity is great, and sincerely, to me, you are correct. It’s about being prepared, having the right character and making the most of experiences, such a mindset can lead to growth and various new chances.
