MY INTRODUCTORY POST

Hello friends of Hive.
I am Gilbert Richard sunday but friends call me Omah boy, a 22 year old young boy still struggling to see that I further ahead in every good aspect of life, I attended st Peter's secondary school Nasarawa state Akwanga. unfortunately for me, I never had that opportunity others had, due to lack of financial support, I got stuck after my secondary school, but God has been faithful all this while, I believe I will make it through, with him by my side, I have taken it as my everyday prayer point, so I believe everything will be fine.

I come from a very good Christian home with sound morals, compassion and hard work, before moving to Akwanga with my other siblings, we grew up in the northwest region of Nigeria Kaduna state, a region of about 59_63 ethnic groups, home to a wide range of languages including kaninkon , Hausa, Gbagyi(gwari), Adara(kadara), Atyap and many more. I come From one of the ethnic group "kaninkon" from the family of Mr & Mrs Richard sunday. my mother and father are from the same local government and also same tribe. my mother works at Abuja Capital of Nigeria, she often comes to visit and see how we are doing, while my father who was posted to porthacourt due to the nature of his job as a force worker (NSCDC), he only visits ones a year cause of the distance and also call sometimes. I and my siblings are presently live in Akwanga where we were left to go hustle so we can help ourselves. we are four in number, two girls and two boys, I happen to be the second child.

I grew up and was ready to learn. my parents saw that, and that was why i started peace nursery and primary school kafanchan. after I was don with my primary school, my father was transferred to porthacourt. but instead of following him, he decided with my mother to take us to Akwanga and then leave to porthacourt because of some reasons best known to them.

my Father saw it necessary to send me to a private school, so he did, and I was enrolled in to st Peter's secondary school akwanga where I started and finish my senior weac. but unfortunately for me I did not clear my papers. things get so though at that point, my father never gave me a second chance to try again, I guess he was disappointed, so he transferred all his attention and support to my younger brother, leaving me to figure my self out. it got really serious that I could not sit back watching my mate going further while I am at home, so I decided to find something to do, in other to re write my exams.

Unfortunately for me, I don't have a good certificate to get a good pay job, but stood my ground to get something to do despite the conditions and I finally got one but payment was very poor. had no choice but to manage to see if I can come out with something, but life keep trying to make it difficult for me. I hope and pray that one day it will get better for me every single day.

I loved music, and have always wanted to be one of those stars I see on TV. I kept trying and working on my songs all the time with a friend of mine, it got to a time when he insisted we visit the studio, and that is how I got to meet this guy who's @scottykriz. he was also there for a record, suddenly we started vibing to a beat and he loved what I was singing, then he called me and was telling me how I can invest my talents in hive. I was interested, so I collect his number and we started talking then he invited me to his place which I went. and it turnes out to be good decision for me. I really do appreciate him for because he went has far as doing what he was not actually comfortable with, which is talking to his elder brother @ovey10 who is one of the great people on hive, who has been setting a difference in the hive space, and ensuring that hive stay a better place for us all, after many days of thinking that took over 2 mounts, he finally decided to talk to his brother, so i can come on board properly, i am thankful for the both of them, and i believe they will never be disappointed. I can start from somewhere by doing what I love while getting paid for it. this is really a dream coming through and a prayer answered for me am really greatful. I hope I meet all expectations of the Hive platform.
