How Hive Helped Me Discover My Love for Photography and Preserving Memories.

I never imagined myself as someone who would be passionate about photography In fact there was a time when I barely cared about taking pictures I lived in the moment but I never thought about capturing those moments for the future However, but over time I started to realize that memories fade No matter how much we try to hold onto them, little details slip away That’s when photography started to make sense to me, At first I was just taking pictures casually. I’d snap a few shots here and there of my hostel mates, random street scenes, the beautiful evening sky or even my trips, I didn’t think much of it but I always felt a certain satisfaction when I scrolled through my gallery and saw those moments frozen in time It was like reliving the experience all over again.

Then here comes the boom, a friend or mine introduced me to hive and everything changed Initially I joined the platform to blog to share my thoughts and experiences through writing But as I explored I came across incredible photography posts people documenting their daily lives showcasing breathtaking landscapes or even capturing the beauty in the simplest things That was when I truly began to see photography as more than just random snapshots it was storytelling, Seeing others share their moments in such a creative way inspired me to be more intentional with my pictures.

I started paying attention to angles, lighting and how a single image could tell a story Whether it was the quiet serenity of my village the fun moments in my hostel or the everyday hustle of city life I found joy in capturing and sharing them, Hive became more than just a blogging platform for me it became a space where I could express myself visually, where my memories weren’t just stored in my phone but shared with a community that appreciated them, One of my most cherished experiences was when I traveled to the village with my dad The journey was long and after taking public transport I still had to hop on a bike to get to our compound During my stay I spent time fencing the compound, visiting the stream and reflecting on life If it weren’t for the pictures I took those little but meaningful moments might have faded into just another memory, But now, whenever I look at those photos I feel like I’m back there feeling the cool village breeze, hearing the rustling of trees and reliving every emotion tied to that trip, Now photography has become second nature to me Whether I’m hanging out with Jane capturing random smiles or simply observing life around me I instinctively reach for my phone At first it was just about posting on Hive but now it’s much more than that, It’s about keeping memories alive, about preserving the moments that make life meaningful. I’m grateful for the journey because every photo I take isn’t just an image It’s a piece of my story frozen in time..

The love for photography is indeed second to none, @luminomind this write up is explicit.
Why i love photography is that it gives birth to creativity and it is explainatory.
