Hivereachout weekly prompt 54 >> "One Thing I Learned From Hive" // My Writing Skill

I loves writing even though then the main reason was because I am a scammer without knowing I have such a lovely skill like writing skill. I desired to write more and better in any given opportunity I have and Hive has made such opportunity available for me. When I see this weekly prompt topic it makes me smiled and have a sharp thought within myself. If not for hive I wouldn't have known or discovered my writing skill or ability this far. I haven't been to Hive for long yet but what I have learned is far beyond just the money or financial aspect. Hive has made me become a thinker, like since I started hive my thinking abilities increase higher. I will be seating am thinking and lying on my bed thinking about topics, instances, experiences, lot of things.

But I will talk about one major thing I have really learn from Hive and that one thing is my " WRITING SKILL". Ever since I was in secondary school and college, I prefer writing than talking. I often expressed myself through writings my ideas, sharing informations on social media even though I do copied some of the informations at times . Back then in secondary school days and college I prefer writing than talking basically because I am a stammer er. Like I stutter everytime I want to talk or express myself very well and share informations with people in a public sittings. So, I will rather express myself through writings words or keep quite in a gathering of people.

But this year March 2025, I joined Hive and I understood I could write more and better than all those years I have been writing. Now I could write about an informations, past events and even on a topic I have chosen to write everyday but back then I used to write to express myself time to time. Hive has made me to think deep before writing and my writing skill have improved and developed tremendously.
Because of Hive I understand writing is not just a way of me escaping talking in the class as I used to be because I stutter each time I want to talk but is a skill that needs to be nurtures and develop regularly. I have been writing on hive for the past four (4) months and I can clearly see the difference of my writing skill now and then. Now I became more thoughtful and effective in writing and writing good reports in my place of work.

I can boldly say hive has made me become more educated and knowledgeable in my writing skill especially the part of not copying someone else writeup but writing your own. Other platforms like facebook and Wasap we normally copied other posts or writeup and post on our timelines or blogs and send it to people we want. But on Hive it doesn't happen like that. You must write everything from your head and mind. And for someone to write everything from his head needs to sit down and think deeply, reason before writing it and Hive has made me does that. I have heard people with good writing skill often have good acculate in some specific offices like secretary, manager, recorder, personal assistant and more related offices of such needs someone that's good in writing.
Because of Hive, my writing skil have improved and it allows me to persuade, inspire people with my posts, share my ideas and experiences and makes me communicate openly and fluently with other people in the comments section. Because of Hive, whatever I will post I will make sure I am organized in thought and my mind is settled before writing it, and then calculate what I have written or my experiences before posting it in my blog. Hive has made me understand more of myself through my writing skill and Hive motivated me more to write everyday and also build my self confidence because most of the time a well written post can be seen as a symbol of intelligence.

I am a social media person and I have been engaging with people more often through chatting than talking but it doesn't mean I cannot talk or speak fluently. I just cannot speak fast confidently on public sittings or places with the way I have confidence with myself in writings. Therefore, Hive have made me become an active blogger, I write and post on different hive communities and write topics on relationship, marriage, love, stories and past events as I said earlier. I have build my writing skill personally through constant postings. I have become more active on hive platform than I have ever been in any platforms or social media handles. And because of my inspiring writing skill it attracts audience to comments and share their opinion, views and ideas in my posts.

Basically now I enjoyed and found joy in writings and sharing informations with friends, family and colleagues for a long time over talking.
For me coming to hive has made me find fulfilment in my writing skill and I have more experiences about good write-ups through Hive . For one to talk or say something it doesn't requires more energy to say a word out from your mouth. But you needs more energy to write than talking. Talking is cheap and easy but writing involves one paying attention to grammar, mistakes of words and grammatical errors. One needs to think deep and deeper before writing than talking and I enjoyed thinking deep, analysing the thought within me before bringing out the conclusion. To me, writing on Hive is not all about showing my intelligence or wanting to get paid only but is a way of me expressing myself and communicate with people.
if you are a worker, students, an business person or a famer, writing well and writing good is definitely a good skill anyone should have in his or her life.
