My name is Emmanuel James but my friends call me fresh and it pleases my heart to have you on my blog here today.
I was having a chat with a close friend of mine @emreal and he told me about hive and linked me up with @ovey10 who has been guiding and coaching me until I got to understand blockchain.
Growing up does not treat me fairly . I say this because I'm from Benue state, Makurdi, born into a middle class family of five with me being the second child. It has not been easy.
My dad got married even before he joined the army and is due for retirement. According to the army, after 35 years in service you will retire.
After my WAEC (West African Examination Council) I decided not to go to school just to reduce the workload for my father because as a family man you tend to take care of your family needs and I don't want to be a burden.
I realized I had a lot of work to do. So, I started farming for money just to help myself through some things that wouldn't bother my father. Still with the intention of going back to school I continue to work relentlessly.
About my relationship life, I don't relate much and through all this years it's just few people who i could say this are my friends i don't really have time for all that stuff because sometimes too much of everything is bad i have a goal i want to achieve so i place my focus on the prize and friends come behind.
I always thank God for where I am now, because sometimes if you look back you'll have nothing to give but thanks. Apart from other things I do, I love to play music.
I'm a drummer for clarity and drumming has been part of me for some years now and everyday is a learning process. Why I love drumming is because it's one of the times I can express myself without holding back and God has been faithful so I thank God about that.
Coming to my hobbies , my free time during the evening is to play football and just enjoy the moment with people. Life teaches that do not dwell in the sorrow of the past, learn to embrace pain with a good heart and move forward.
I have had a passion for writing right from junior secondary school but I never really had anyone to coach me. My friend told me that I can become a better person on Hive if I put in the effort and I am ever ready for it. I want to focus more on writing, and music on this platform for now, then explore other niches subsequently.
I am really excited to be here, I hope to improve on my skills, make friends, impact lives and be impacted too.
