Hello dear friends of @Dailyblog, greetings to all and happy day, this time I come to tell you about the closing of my son's project that we celebrated this week, which was focused on different topics on Afro-Venezuelan culture, such as instruments, dance, crafts and gastronomy, each with a way to convey those teachings that the ancestors left and how they have influenced each one.

In the case of my son's section I touched the crafts, as the carnival festivities are coming we took advantage not only to decorate with crafts related to the theme but also with masks, to commemorate the carnival festivities, although in their case they have an ancestral and religious meaning, The day before we focused on decorating with the support of several representatives and the teacher, we looked for a fabric that could withstand the winds since it would be outdoors and we could stick the masks that had been decorated on top of it.

They had also elaborated individual ones for each one of the children so that they could put them in front of them and thus represent their Stan, in the same way they took crafts and instruments like the rain stick that is usually used as a symbol of their creations, everyone was excited with them although when we arrived my son was a little restless, he was more sleepy than to be aware of everything, and then little by little he was entering the activities, which was appreciating each of the stations that had information about the Afro-Venezuelan history, that helped to understand more about them and to appreciate in a cultural and artistic way what they represent in our history.

When it was his turn he showed his mask and was entertained with it, but when it was his turn to dance the drum he didn't want to, he said he didn't like to dance, but I think it was more of a pity because at home he does move around, the teacher tried to help him to integrate, but it wasn't so easy, he was very still and watching what the others were doing, but in his own way he enjoyed it.

Then we met for a while to eat some cookies and have a drink before leaving, it was a simple but significant event to what they have learned in these months, as well as to reinforce the roots, learn in a dynamic, colorful way and together not only with their teachers but also with their parents, because one was also supporting to be able to put together what was necessary to carry out this activity and learn more about the subject and to spend a different time with their classmates.

Hola queridos amigos de @Dailyblog, saludos a todos y feliz día, en esta ocasión vengo para comentarles sobre el cierre de proyecto de mi hijo que lo celebramos esta semana, el cual fue enfocado en diferentes temas sobre la cultura afrovenezolana, como los instrumentos, la danza, artesanía y gastronomía, cada uno con una manera de transmitir esas enseñanzas que los ancestros dejaron y como han influenciado en cada uno.

En el caso de la sección de mi hijo le toco la artesanía, como ya vienen las fiestas de carnaval se aprovechó no solo de decorar con artesanías referentes al tema sino también con máscaras, para conmemorar las fiestas de carnaval, aunque el caso de ellos tienen un significado ancestral y religioso, por eso sus formas y colores para llamar y respetar a los espíritus, un día antes nos enfocamos en decorar con apoyo de varios representantes y la maestra, buscamos una tela que pudiera soportar los vientos que había ya que sería al aire libre y poderle pegar encima las máscaras que se habían decorado.

También se habían elaborado unas individuales a cada uno de los niños para que se las pudieran poner de frente y así representar su Stan, de igual manera se lleve artesanías e instrumentos como el palo de lluvia que suele ser usado como símbolo de sus creaciones, todos estaban emocionados con ellos aunque cuando llegamos mi hijo estaba algo inquieto tenía más sueño que estar al pendiente de todo, ya luego poco a poco fue ingresando a las actividades, las cuales fue apreciando cada uno de las estaciones que tenían una información referente a la historia afrovenezolana, eso ayudo a entender más a ellos y poder apreciar de manera cultural y artística lo que representan ellos en nuestra historia.

Ya cuando le toco su turno mostró su máscara y estuvo entretenido con ello, pero cuando les tocó bailar tambor bueno ahí si no quería jeje, decía que no le gustaba bailar, pero creo que más que todo era pena porque en la casa si se anda moviendo, igual la maestra intentaba ayudarlo a que se integrara, pero no estaba tan sencillo, estaba muy quieto y mirando lo que hacia los demás, pero a su manera pudo disfrutar al respecto.

Luego nos reunimos un rato para que comieran unas galletas y tomaran algo antes de irnos, fue un evento sencillo pero significativo a lo que han aprendido en estos meses, así como también reforzar las raíces, aprender de una manera dinámica, colorida y en conjunto no solo con sus maestras sino de igual manera con sus padres, porque así mismo uno también estuvo apoyando en poder lograr armar lo necesario para llevar a cabo esta actividad y conocer más al respecto del tema y que pasaran un rato diferente con sus compañeros de clase.
