[ENG/ESP] A Saturday where effort turns into great satisfaction.
Happy Sunday, everyone.
Today I've decided to treat myself to a well-deserved rest. After a busy week and a pretty demanding Saturday, I'm going to stay home and be pampered by my loved ones. Nothing makes me happier than feeling the love of my husband and son, who are always there to take care of me when I need it.
I want to share with you how my day went yesterday, because even though it wasn't the best day of the week, it was full of lessons and moments worth remembering. I started feeling ill early in the morning. I had a fever from very early on, which made me think that I might not be able to fulfill my commitments. However, as I had work responsibilities, I took some medicine and got ready with the best attitude I could muster.
We left for the Ecoland hotel, where we had to install the missing membrane in the system. This type of work requires a great deal of concentration because we cannot afford to make mistakes: the materials are expensive, and any mistake could mean a big problem. Fortunately, we already had everything organized thanks to the experience we gained the day before. That preparation allowed us to move forward more easily and confidently.

Hoy he decidido regalarme un merecido descanso. Después de una semana intensa y un sábado bastante exigente, me quedaré en casa para ser mimada por los que me aman. Nada me hace más feliz que sentir el cariño de mi esposo y de mi hijo, quienes siempre están atentos a cuidarme cuando lo necesito.
Quiero compartirles cómo fue mi día de ayer, porque aunque no resultó ser el mejor de la semana, estuvo lleno de aprendizajes y momentos que merecen ser recordados. Desde la madrugada comencé a sentirme mal, la fiebre me acompañó desde muy temprano y me hizo pensar que quizás no podría cumplir con mis compromisos. Sin embargo, como tenía responsabilidades de trabajo, tomé algunos remedios y me alisté con la mejor disposición posible.
Salimos rumbo al hotel Ecoland, donde debíamos colocar la membrana que faltaba en el sistema. Este tipo de trabajo requiere muchísima concentración, porque no podemos darnos el lujo de cometer errores: los materiales son costosos y cualquier equivocación podría significar un gran problema. Afortunadamente, ya teníamos todo organizado gracias a la experiencia adquirida el día anterior. Esa preparación nos permitió avanzar con mayor facilidad y seguridad.
Once the installation was complete, we carried out the necessary checks and were extremely satisfied. The TDS readings were within normal ranges, confirming that there were no saltwater leaks. We were delighted by this news, as it meant that our efforts over two consecutive days had been worthwhile. With the work completed and verified, we decided to treat ourselves to a moment of relaxation by taking a walk around the hotel grounds.
Al finalizar la instalación, realizamos las comprobaciones necesarias y la satisfacción fue enorme. Los TDS estaban dentro de los rangos normales, lo que nos confirmó que no había fuga de agua salada. Esa noticia nos llenó de alegría, porque significaba que el esfuerzo de dos días consecutivos había valido la pena. Con el trabajo concluido y verificado, decidimos regalarnos un momento de relajación caminando por las instalaciones del hotel.
The first stop was the lagoon, a place I had already shown them and which I always find to be a true paradise. The reflection of the sky on the water, the birdsong, and the tranquility of the surroundings made us forget our accumulated fatigue for a while.
La primera parada fue la laguna, un lugar que ya les había mostrado y que siempre me parece un verdadero paraíso. El reflejo del cielo sobre el agua, el canto de las aves y la tranquilidad del entorno nos hicieron olvidar por un rato el cansancio acumulado.
Then we continued on to the paddle tennis court and finally arrived at the place where we had left the car. Exhaustion was evident, but so was the satisfaction of having accomplished the task.
Luego seguimos hacia la cancha de pádel y finalmente llegamos al sitio donde habíamos dejado el carro. El agotamiento era evidente, pero también la satisfacción de haber cumplido con la tarea.
We decided to give the plant a day off and return on Monday to continue with the routine and observe how the parameters behaved. We returned home via Simplicio Rodríguez Avenue, a road we love for its coastal landscapes. The weather was great, and the photographs I took became small, beautiful memories of a hard day full of beauty.
Decidimos darle un día de marcha a la planta y regresar el lunes para continuar con la rutina y observar cómo se comportan los parámetros. El regreso a casa lo hicimos por la avenida Simplicio Rodríguez, un camino que amamos por sus paisajes costeros. El clima estaba estupendo y las fotografías que pude tomar se convirtieron en pequeños y hermosos recuerdos de un día duro pero lleno de belleza.
Before arriving home, we stopped by the clinic, where they confirmed that I had severe tonsillitis. That was the reason for the fever that struck me during the night. They treated me and told me that for the next seven days I would need two injections a day to recover. Of course, that means I'll have to slow down at work and take better care of my health, something we sometimes forget when we're overwhelmed with responsibilities.
That's why, at the beginning of this post, I mentioned that this Sunday I'll be staying home to be pampered. My husband and son won't let me do much, because if I don't like being sick, they like it even less. Their love and support are my best medicine, and I know that with their company I will soon be recovered.
That's how my Saturday at work went, between effort, achievements, and beautiful landscapes that reminded me of the importance of enjoying every moment. Today, it's my turn to rest, be grateful, and let my family's love take center stage.

Antes de llegar a casa pasamos por la clínica, donde me confirmaron que tenía una amigdalitis severa. Esa fue la razón de la fiebre que me atacó durante la noche. Me aplicaron un tratamiento y me indicaron que durante los próximos siete días debo recibir dos inyecciones diarias para recuperarme. Por supuesto, eso significa que tendré que bajar el ritmo de trabajo y cuidar más mi salud, algo que a veces olvidamos cuando las responsabilidades nos absorben.
Por eso, al inicio de esta publicación les mencioné que este domingo me quedaré en casa para ser mimada. Mi esposo y mi hijo no me permitirán hacer muchas cosas, porque si a mí no me gusta estar enferma, a ellos menos. Su cariño y apoyo son mi mejor medicina, y sé que con su compañía pronto estaré recuperada.
Así transcurrió mi sábado de trabajo; entre esfuerzo, logros y paisajes hermosos que me recordaron la importancia de disfrutar cada instante. Hoy me toca descansar, agradecer y dejar que el amor de mi familia sea el protagonista.
