My Day Turns Out Really Well Despite a Lazy Start: Guiding Nikka in the Backyard and Our Happy Garden with Growing Alugbati and Oregano in Our Land

Whoa, I didn't really do anything productive today. Although I did house chores, making breakfast, lunch, and dinner, doing the dishes, and feeding our pet - but these are already part of my day. It's not something that I can really call meaningful. And because we have leftovers from last night, I didn't cook any meals either, I cooked rice, though. It's not a productive day, but it sure is a happy day for me as I have more time to bum around. Lol

Another thing is I am too lazy to do anything productive today. This only happens when it's time of the month already. This is why even visiting here in Hive needs a lot of pushing just so I can be active. Like, I know I don't have to really force myself to do it, but you know, I feel like if I start to do this, it may become a bad habit, and I don't really want that. So what I did was just give myself a time to laze around by reading manhwa and watching anime.

After that I open Hive again and started reading articles, leaving some hearts and comments too. I do it in between while reading manhwa and watching anime, lol. By the way I'm currently watching "I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History." As for the Manhwa, I'm actually reading Yaoi Manhwa with Smut in it. The title is "My Egocentric Boss is Obsess with Me." Both are good series to pass the time, I have no desire to do other things except to read and watch.

After gathering my sh/t, I then asked Mama to come with me to buy cooked Vegetable Dish near Pick Up Shop. I didn't buy to the restaurant nearby this time because I noticed how small the amount of servings on their dishes now. I can understand it of course, but the quality and taste of the meals on their menu changed too. I feel like what I pay and what I get is not worth it anymore. So I decided to buy cooked meals somewhere, although it's a little far. But at least, the taste is really good.

This is the vegetable dish I bought with Mama for lunch. I bought Chopsuey while Mama got the Ginataang Monggo. I don't have a photo of it but it looks tasty too. Half order of this Chopsuey cost 25 pesos only and there's already a lot in half servings. It even has chicken meat and liver which I think make this dish more tasty and flavorful. And with this, we had a hearty Lunch together with the Oldies. We still have leftover Chicken Adobo from last night so we paired it with Chopsuey.

After the sumptuous lunch, I then accompany Nikka in the backyard to let her play and observe the place. She's used to this now, last time she visit this place alone and I am so proud of her. Lol

While outside, I also watch Mama pick up some Atis. Sad because look how some part of it are rotting. I'm not sure what's causing this though.

As I check on Nikka, this plant here with that dark red stem caught my attention. I asked Mama what it is and said it Alugbati or Malabar Spinach. It's a vegetable, yeah and I haven't tried this vegetable yet. I don't even know how to cook it, like, does it taste good?

Not far from here was the oregano, we had a lot of this before near our window, but Mom decided to remove it because it spread too much and too fast. Glad we have this here again, I heard it has a lot of health benefits. Well, it's not like I will eat it, and I'm not sure if I ever want to try to (≧▽≦). I'm curious though, can we eat this raw?

I love alugbati, green or purple especially in law uy steamed or ginataan. but the atis was cute. I love atis too especially when it is so ripe. it is so easy to get atis too if there is no red ants in the tree
