How to be a "Morning Person?" Can someone help me correct my unhealthy sleeping pattern?
Good Morning from the Philippines my fellow Hive Community. Today I am getting myself vulnerable and ask for some help, and maybe someone in our community can help me.
Last night, my Mom and Dad decided we would go for a walk with our dog, since my other dog is almost obese now 😅, they encouraged me to join them because,I seldom go out in the morning, they wanted to make the most of the Sunny weather, because in the news, there will be another typhoon entering the country or nearby this week, and when you say "morning" to the elders, it means, four or five in the morning, just before the sunrise ☀️ so I agreed, alright, no problem, let's go, I don't do this often, so this is pretty cool to me.


I was never EVER, a morning person, I would always read and watch some inspirational videos and tips on how to change my sleeping routine, but ends up going back to "sleeping late, waking up late" pattern



but don't get me wrong, waking up late doesn't mean I am lazy, I know my responsibilities, I made sure to exercise thrice a week, do some chores and work, but I feel like, life must be good or better when I wake up a little earlier.
One of my bestie told me, I should plan for delicious breakfast, because the idea of something you look forward to waking up will actually activate your brain and wakes you up instantly, honestly, it works, for a short period of time only, just like today, 😅 I didn't actually look forward to the morning walk, but instead, I was thinking of the "breakfast" and 7/11 convenience store came to my mind 🤣 Siopao, Hotdog sandwiches, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and coffee 😍, but my parents, being the traditional, health-wise as they are, rather chose to buy "Suman sa Ibos" It's a sticky rice wrapped in coconut leaves and cooked with coconut milk. It's delicious and yeah, healthy.

My Father told me, it's really nice when I wake up this early, and how I wish I could do this often, too
While going home, I was wondering, what is it that I can look forward to waking up again tomorrow? something that would really awake my senses, something better than the thought of extending my sleep until afternoon 😩😪
What are your thoughts 💭

When I was still in the corporate world, I used to become a morning person. But when I changed career, being a freelancer, I always sleep late at night, waking up late in the morning. 😅
I think that's the culprit, the nature of our job is really destroying our body clock 😅
I had this problem recently when I had to pass exams at university.
From what I know, the ideas we think about before going to bed is the ones that our mind considers the most important among the ones we generated throughout the day,
So, we need to think about waking up early before going to bed.
Plus, ideas expressed with the words written on a piece of paper are 10 times much stronger than the ones spoken or thought about.
So, I just wrote on a piece of paper that I needed to wake up at 5 o'clock before going to bed.
And it worked for me perfectly each time.
