On multiple occasions or well, (since we met) I have always been a good model for her and like everything, to see how one of the first portraits was, is undoubtedly a wonder for me, never anyone had ever filled me with so much meaning as she does through her strokes and observations, it is something really amazing those who know how to see, create and give quality gifts, and as she says, there is nothing more beautiful than what is made by your own hands.

En múltiples ocasiones o bueno, (desde que nos conocimos) siempre he sido buen modelo para ella y como todo, ver cómo quedó uno de los primeros retratos, es sin duda una maravilla para mí, nunca alguien jamás me había llenado tanto de significado como lo hace ella a través de sus trazos y observaciones, es algo realmente sorprendente los que saben ver, crear y obsequiar con calidad, y como bien lo dice ella, no hay nada más bonito que lo hecho por tus propias manos.

Bueno, en primer lugar, podrán ver la diferencia entre la primera y la segunda foto, fue de los primeros retratos que hizo, y el segundo fue después de algunas prácticas más, digo que es una constante por esto, porque desde un principio tuvimos esa iniciativa de realizarnos retratos cada vez que tenemos la oportunidad, porque aun lo seguimos haciendo y lo seguiremos haciendo, porque para mí ha sido todo un deleite dibujarla y retratarla también.

Now, as for these two portraits, I remember the occasion very well, you see, I am always working at night and I usually leave late after 11:00 pm, (it's remote work from home), and one of those occasions in the afternoon Nahiara came to keep me company while I was working, she took her sketch pad and some pencils and got down to work....

Ahora bien, en cuanto a estos dos retratos, recuerdo muy bien la ocasión, verán, siempre estoy trabajando de noche y normalmente salgo tarde después de las 11:00 pm, (es trabajo remoto desde casa), y una de esas ocasiones a horas de la tarde Nahiara llego hacerme compañía mientras trabajaba, tomó su bloc de dibujo y algunos lápices y se puso manos a la obra...

It was after a few minutes that I realized that she was doing a profile portrait of me, (the smaller drawing she had done before) so, while analyzing the situation and the structure of my face we were having some sporadic chats, but something that I love about this, is the silence of knowing that someone you love is making something of you, it is very pleasing, it fills you with intrigue, happiness and it is motivating to continue with the drawing, that same afternoon she finished it in the blink of an eye.

Fue al cabo de unos minutos que me di cuenta que estaba realizándome un retrato de perfil, (el dibujo más pequeño ya lo había hecho anteriormente) entonces, mientras analizaba la situación y la estructura de mi rostro estábamos teniendo algunas charlas esporádicas, pero algo que me encanta de esto, es el silencio de saber que alguien que amas está haciendo algo de ti, es muy complaciente, te llena de intriga, felicidad y es motivador para seguir continuando con el dibujo, esa misma tarde lo terminó en un abrir y cerrar de ojos.

I was really amazed when she showed it to me, it is in that moment where we experienced how great contemplation can be, she was amazed to be able to feel that way, and I was amazed by what she can do, then she told me that she would take some pictures to have the memory of that occasion, it is certainly extraordinary to be portrayed by someone you love very much.

Realmente quedé maravillado cuando me lo mostró, es en ese momento donde experimentamos lo grandioso que puede ser la contemplación, ella maravillada de poderme sentir así, y yo maravillado por lo que puede hacer, luego me dijo que me haría unas fotografías para tener el recuerdo de aquella ocasión, es sin duda extraordinario ser retratado por alguien a quien amas mucho.
