A SKILL at hand ease life time.
A SKILL at hand ease life time.
Well, this is an emotional experience I witness some months back that till today made me don't joke with learning a skills or being productive for yourself In general.
Good day my beloved and welcome to my blog once again,I basically Donny wrote ups base on experience, achievement and historical events that are facts checked.
This piece here is about a driver, who at just a blink lost everything he had or was doing because of some misunderstanding of sort. Let me talk a little on how i got to know him and his ordeal.
Meanwhile, as we all around the world are hustling and grinding for a better future or wellbeing we ought to be careful and smart in dealing with issues that arises.
When heading back to JOS plateau state from lokoja Kogi state in January I went to board a cab usually called Sharon, I paid and so as others but after a while we noticed the car was really in a good shape to go on a long trip like that and we raiser alarm by the way life isn't in two phase, they heard our complaints and was looking for an alternative vehicle, immediately a man mid forty in age came pleading he will do the transit for us after he has registered and even promised to reduced our price just a little since he's doing it for the first time.
Along the way I noticed how worried looking the driver was and I was disturbed because been too worried can cause distraction on the road and can lead to unwanted circumstances, I was just very observant since I was at the passengers seat.
Not until we got to a filling station for a refill he noticed the pictures I was cross checking on my mobile phone containing several welding and fabricated works, we stood for awhile maybe admiring it, I really couldn't tell.
He then came inside and said if I had a professional skill I learnt which can generate me some money if I am not employed? I knew there was alot behind that question. That's where our interaction really started fully. He was indeed friendly and approachable but situation and over thinking has cause a bad swift of life.
He narrated what happened to him, he lost his nice paying job and saying it to me I saw lots of sadness and frustration on his face. There's alot he wanted sharing and it was heavy on him.
In summary, he was set up by someone from a higher office out of jealousy and religious sentiments and obviously according to him, he always turn down bribes. He wasn't smart enough to avoid it, but we're only human who tends to make some mistake.
He's only regret was that he never learnt any professional skill as a back up, a family man with full responsibility, I just can't imagine how frustrated losing an only job can cause. Especially in our present economic situation.
He had to quickly use his car and venture into transit ( interstate) , according to him that was the only quick way he can generate enough money for his family. Something's like this hit more harder if the partner doesn't have a skill or business that brings in some money.
He advised all of us that we should use this his ordeal and make sure we don't get stranded in our life journey.
Acquiring a skill, no matter how little it is, well I don't know if there's even a skill that's "little" , we was just be realistic about the shaken challenges that life might hit you unawares.
There's no joy that can beat been skillful and educated. you can make money from your brain.
That's what there say is financial freedom.
