An Unexpected Shopping

This errand was not really an errand at all. So yes, it was surely unexpected. Even so, let me just share my day here since I had my fun on this particular day.

It was a non-working holiday, so we decided to work on our Capstone Project and meet on a cafe around the East area of Bacolod. I'm going to share a whole blog of that in a separate posts because I was really satisfied with the food there. That was really our main purpose on that day, but after that when we were going back, we dropped by this new Shopping Store in the city —Lammart.

Sounds like Walmart, right? I'm not sure if that was their inspiration for the name of their store but it really does sounds alike.

We were just going around to kill time since we didn't wanna go home yet. Malls are crowded and there's nothing new at downtown, thus; this place was decided to be explored. Also, my friend here was looking for a funnel to be used in her kitchen.

There were lots of stuff in here. Initially, I thought it's a Grocery store but not just it, they got almost everything in here. It's literally your home's one-stop shop for all kinds of supplies. There are school supplies, appliances and motorcycle accessories, too.

We went up to the 2nd floor of the building because she couldn't find the funnel on the geound floor. Then, while she was looking for that kitchen tool, my eyes were locked on the display of fabric conditioners with different scents.

They sell those fabric conditioners in big bottle sizes. Those were all 1.5 liters and a bottle costs Php 58 only. I was hesitant at first to buy it because we have loved the one that we found in Gaisano and we're waiting for it to re-stock. However, that particular brand of fabric has been always out of stock when we are going to buy groceries, the timing often caught us.

I wasn't also sure if we're gonna like the scent of this fabric conditioner that they have here. We're that picky and I didn't see one bottle that could be use for a tester or a sample to check on the scent. My friend was braver than me on that moment. She slightly opened each the cap of each variants to release the scent from the bottles, then so, we could be able to tell if the scent is good. And yes, it worked! I have been able to pick a bottle then, and Lavender has been choosen.

After picking up that bottle, we checked every shelves that we had passed by. It's was tiresome to explore that huge place but I was learning some items that I could find cheaper here than any other stores around downtown or online. My friend was even wondering why I didn't have the idea about those things. Well, it was because I was too lazy to find an affordable item that I want. If I could see it on one store, that settles it. I'll buy it no matter how much the price, then go home. Sometimes, I'll just check if I could find it on the Orange App, then order the item right away. I'm really not that kind of meticulous buyer. I was rather a lazy and impulsive one.

In the end, we took a basket with us because items that I could find cheap and useful were piling up on my arms. Meanwhile, my friend here still couldn't find what she was looking for.

I also have bought some cleaning tools. My friend bought some makeup materials instead because they didn't have the funnel that she was looking for. I mean, they did have one but not the right size that she wanted. She just needs a smaller size but the one they have is bigger.

Lastly, we've added few items for hygiene, then paid everything on the counter. After that, we went back home because our legs were too tired from all that roaming. Anyways, she gave me a fun experience about shopping. You just don't buy immediately, you countercheck the price and quality to other stores and decide. So, while I was going home straight from the class, this was one reason why they go to malls around downtown after school. I see, I missed a few things in my life. I'll be thanking her a lot for giving me ideas where to buy some things.
