HO HO HO Merry Christmas Hive Family

Merry Christmas HIVE community and to those who I regard as friends having been in contact for nearly 8 years now. Some would say you would know someone better in real life than you would online and I would disagree. I think because you are reading what someone is doing with their lives or writing about other scenarios you tend to take more notice and you do get to know people rather well.

I think being online you tend to give up more of yourself than you think than you would in person and why I enjoy reading all the articles that I do each day as everyone uses their own unique way. Everyone of us has different personality characteristics and for those that write about their lives and real goings on so much is revealed about you as a person. We may be part of a large online community, but many of us have made real connections which time will do.

This came through WhatsApp earlier and I thought it was a classic because Die Hard has become a proper Christmas movie which is kind of crazy in itself. Hard to imagine this film was released in 1988 and is already 37 years old.

Speaking of television my family gave me as one of my gifts an upgrade for my TV Box and once they have set this up I should have a seamless television stream unlocking every series and every film ever produced. This includes all current tv programs being televised around the world and shows you how far this type of technology has progressed.

We do not do normal television and all of our things we watch are streamed via these TV Boxes. Mine was out dated and maybe why some days I could not get streams to certain programs and now that should be resolved. If any of you are interested and considering this for your own home then give me a shout in the comments and I will get all the details on how this works and what needs to be set up. It could be a plug in play, but honestly asking me is dangerous and would need to write down the steps if there are any and I am sure there are.

I think my old one was an Amazon TV Box and this may eb their updated version or another version. See how much I know about this stuff as TV is great to have, but it is not that important really plus I have others who know in the household. This gadget is also great for watching films on the circuit and how I watched Nuremberg the other day. Turned out to be a shocker and I am more than happy not to have paid to go and see it.

Christmas is not such a big deal for myself and I like to sit back and watch as the rest of the family open their presents. The expressions whether they are of a happy surprise or a possible slip of disappointment is all part of the fun and entertainment. I think I encountered disappointment once when we put a trick gift together and it was not what it said on the box. Most of us dads are disappointed every year when we receive socks, but we never show our emotions. The one year I received designer trousers that never even fitted so you have to be open to whatever and smile. This year no socks so I must have moved into the grandpa age so maybe next year will be a pipe and a pair of slippers with a gown.
