A new piece of the series "Thinking about home" (oil on paper)

Me and my hubby @paolobeneforti spent yesterday afternoon cleaning another corner of our lab room, that's not the best way to spend the Sunday, but it was useful. Now the lab seems to be larger than before and there is a pleasant clean scent inside the room. 😁
This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the hours of the day, when the city is still in silence and the birds start to sing their songs.
Whatching some of my old painting, when I used to paint the faces just with few touches of colors, I thought to paint a new piece of the series "thinking about home" in a similar style and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, the subject is a girl with brown hair and one of my tiny scenes about home on her head. I added also a couple of blue clouds, just because I thought a touch of blue works well on the background. 😊
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting her so you can see the process too:
