Sitting in the Circle of My Art

IMG_0049.jpeg

Last semester, after weeks of hard work, sleepless nights, and endless strokes of paint, I decided to do something special. I gathered all my paintings, placed them around me in a circle, and sat right in the middle.

For me, it wasn’t just about arranging artworks—it was about sitting inside my own journey. Each painting represented a different struggle, lesson, and victory. Together, they formed a circle, a symbol of wholeness, creativity, and the progress I’ve made as an artist.

When I looked around, I didn’t just see colors on canvas, I saw late nights in the studio, corrections from lecturers, the frustration of mistakes, and the joy of finally getting something right. I saw growth.

That moment reminded me why I create: art is more than assignments or grades—it is a part of me. Sitting in the middle of my works was like saying, “This is who I am, this is my journey, and I’m still becoming.”

The circle is not closed yet—it keeps expanding, and with every new artwork, I step deeper into my path as an artist.
