A Guide To Hive Ecosystem Tipping Tokens, Part 2
This past week I published first installment of some of the Hive ecosystem tipping tokens. There are a lot of them out there these days, and frankly it can be confusing to understand the number of tokens you need to hold in order to make a call and give out a tip. This week I will be covering some more of the commonly used tipping tokens, some that have become less used I may not include on the list. Not because they aren't great, but mostly because I just couldn't find the information I needed to include them in the writeup today.

Today I will kick off with Ladies of Hive!
Ladies of Hive (LOH)
Last week I didn't get to include this important tipping token as I didn't have all the specifics on the project. Now thanks to @silversaver888 I do, thank you! The call used to tip a post is !LADY . You will be giving 0.1 LOH to the recipient when you use a call. Below is the table showing the number of calls that you can make daily depending on the number of LOH you hold:

LOH is not exclusively for the women of Hive and can be used by everyone who hold enough tokens. It's a great project to support, so when you receive some tokens make sure to stake them to earn more tokens from staking.
BBH Update
This past week I did my first tipping token post in which I included BBH, which is one of my favorite tokens to tip. I understand that as of now if you use the call !BBH the recipient receives one BBH and the invoker of the call also receives one BBH token (that would be you.) It pays to give now with BBH! Again, this project is the brainchild of my friend @bradleyarrow . He's a real nice guy and always willing to help out if you run into any issues!
INDEED
My friend @borniet has been busy creating several tipping tokens this past year. Today I will include his projects that are active, although there are a couple more in the works. Once they are finalized I can include them in a future post. But first, let's dive into Indeed.
Call used to invoke a tip is !INDEED , both you and the recipient benefit as below:
- Recipient: Receives 1 IDD token.
- Invoker: Also receives 0.2 IDD token
Here is the overall tokens needed to be held and calls per day schedule:

Weird (WRD)
This is another token created by @borniet that you may have seen used. The call to tip the token is !WRD . When you tip someone they receive 1 WRD token and you receive 0.1 WRD as well in your account. So another situation where it pays to give.
Here is the schedule of tokens needed to be held and the number of calls you receive daily:

Hopium
Another project by @borniet is Hopium. The call to use is !HOPE and the recipient receives on token and the invoker also receives one in return. That's always a nice perk! Below is the schedule of calls and tokens needed to make them:

Strider
@borniet has been a busy man as I have mentioned. Another one of his creations focused more for walkers or runners. The call for this one is !STRIDE . The recipient get 0.1 Stridor (STR) tokens. Below you can see the table of tokens required and call given at each level.

HBIT
This program has been around for quite some time, it did go down for awhile and I was glad to see it up and working again. The way this one works is you use the call !HBIT or !HBITS, or some of the other calls you can see in the link below. The invoker who sends the command gets 0.9 HBIT, and the recipient gets 0.1 HBIT. If you do the call on your own post you get the full 1.0 HBIT. You can also receive some bonus tokens at times as well which is fun.
So feel free to use this call once per day, that is the limit. No holding requirements exist so anyone can use this one! For more info please see:

HUG
HUG is a nice project allowing you to share some love with someone here on Hive. They aren't horribly valuable, but it's just a nice thought to share them. I have provided the table below on the tokens needed and how calls you get per day:

To be completely honest I'm not sure exactly how this one works. I've been asking around without much luck, I'm sure I'll hear back right after I post because that's how it always happens. lol
I do know that you have to have one million SWAP.GIFU for tipping, and I think the more you have the more times you can tip. Don't quote me on that. Full details my have to come in my next installment! But the tip levels are rather nice from the one's I have received in the past.

Impressive updates from both the boutique and the tipping guide—it's great to see HBD and BBH being used actively! Do you think more businesses and users will start adopting these tokens soon?
More projects seem to be including them, and I've always liked them. That's why we included a tipping function in our DUO token project. Some of the tips are more for fun, and others have some pretty significant value. I would expect to see more as the ecosystem expands.

It's crazy how many communities there are that have their own tokens. You would think we should be attracting more attention.
We really should, but a lot of the disagreements and infighting tends to turn people off. It's sad to see a lot of the time!

Some tips are more expensive for sure, PIMP and DUO are among the most expensive. Lately !PIZZA had really shot up in price too.

The advantage is that Daily dividends will be given to all who have staked their tokens at 0.005 x number of LOH tokens staked. This allows you to earn a steady stream of passive income through Daily LOH Token Rewards. It's a great way to put your assets to work and benefit from the growth of the ecosystem.

I use various ones because I've accumulated them over the last couple of years. 500 DUO takes some time, I bought a bunch in the first and now the second tranche, but it's starting to sell out now. Are you familiar with second layer tokens? They are the ones that are purchased on Hive Engine or some other swapping services. Some of these second layer tokens allow you to gift or tip a post when you are responding to the post. The guide her shows how many tokens you need for a particular token you need to be able to use the tipping bot that sends tips. For example !BBH will send you a BBH token. !INDEED will send an INDEED token to you. Have a look!

I love these posts about tippin tokens, among those you mentioned I really like Lady Of Hive. Then there are several that I don't know. I'll reread this post better that I'll reblog and I'll start using the tippin tokens that I didn't know later !DHEDGE
There are so many out there now, and many of the older ones have pretty much died out. DHEDGE died with DVS, I know someone took over but the call doesn't work but it does seem to give out votes to people who lost money when DHEDGE and DVS crashed. Sadly I was one of them!

Thanks for updating me on the DHEDGE tipping token, I will not use it anymore. While the names you reported here in this comment, namely: PIMP, BBH, LOLZ, LUV, PIZZA, I use them, some even for a long time. Instead, I learned about the DUO tipping token by reading your posts. I'm starting to use it !DUO

For the DUO call you need 500 staked DUO, but it's my favorite. Of course I'm biased since I help create it! lol PIMP is my second favorite and then probably BBH. There are so many good ones out there it's hard to keep up.
We started DUO after DHEDGE and DVS crashed to make a better token that was stable, provided curations, daily Hive dividends, and tipping. It was my first token project, it was a lot of work but also a lot of fun!
Thanks for this information. It is not easy to move around and understand something in the second level Hive tokens. Some of these projects that I invested in went to zero. In the next few days I will take a look at how much 500 DUO tokens cost to buy them and then put them in stake !LADY
You have to be careful on second layers, many just turn to garbage. The one's I have the most faith in are DUO, PIMP, and EDSI. Projects where the founders actually care if it succeeds. In our case of DUO, we don't make any money if the project doesn't succeed, in fact we would lose a lot because we put in a large chunk of cash to get the coding done. If the founder doesn't have "skin" in the game it's a scary proposition.
Thanks for sending this clarifying comment. This is the first time I hear about the second level HIVE token called EDSI. As for the PIMP token, I learned about it a few months ago and I'm happy to know that it was created with good intentions! PIMP

Staking requirements depend on the token. DUO and PIMP must be staked. PIZZA and LOL also need to be staked. LUV, HUG, HOPE, INDEED, WRD don't need to be nor does HUG. LUV is really inexpensive these days, I think my 750 are worth about $0.25 total.
