[EN/PT-BR] Still on social networks

Social networks and their monetization, a very interesting topic that was discussed yesterday in the Hive Learners community that ended up inspiring me to do a kind of part 2 with this post here. Just as I said yesterday, that monetization is here to stay on social networks, my almost exclusive experience with this was here at Hive, because with web2 networks, I never even considered getting something that would bring me income, directly or indirectly.

This shows how Hive has enormous power to make this dream come true, since people can have an official job that brings them most of their income and, in the background, have the opportunity to monetize something else that they like to do, be it an innate skill, photos, their daily lives or writing about a wide range of subjects, as many of us do here. I think about how difficult things would be to achieve on web2, after all, we have many absurdly high metrics to achieve in order to try to monetize our channel.

This is what we have done since our first post here and now we also have short content, be it Threads, Snaps or Waves, we can even monetize that too. Therefore, the same short content that exists on most other networks, we now have here too and, as I said, we can monetize it in a much simpler and faster way. So, this is one of the superpowers that Hive has to offer to ordinary, simple people, like me, just a family man, a worker, who would not have many chances of monetizing on web2.

Now that I have a certain audience here, I am eternally grateful to know each and every one of the people who interact with me with a certain frequency and I am even embarrassed to thank them for that, because I know that sometimes I can't give feedback to everyone, help the way I would like, but I feel that now I can try to risk something outside of Hive and with that, My goal at X (formerly Twitter) is to try to monetize there as well. Despite the great challenge of surpassing the metrics that exist there, I believe it is a little easier now, because Hive has given me a solid foundation that makes me feel confident to reach greater heights.

With that, being able to conquer my space here first will also help me conquer my space abroad and that is what makes Hive even more incredible, being the financial and emotional support of many ordinary people, without any stardom or godfathers to help us. Only our effort and focus being rewarded in the best possible way: hard work and a lot of dedication.

Redes sociais e a sua monetização, um tema bem interessante que teve ontem na comunidade da Hive Learners que acabou me inspirando a fazer uma espécie de parte 2 com essa postagem aqui. Assim como falei ontem, que a monetização chegou para ficar nas redes sociais, a minha experiência quase que exclusiva com isso foi aqui na Hive, pois com as redes da web2, nunca nem cogitei conseguir algo que me trouxesse renda, direto ou indiretamente.

Isso mostra como a Hive tem um poder enorme de realizar este sonho, sendo que as pessoas podem ter um trabalho oficial que lhe traga a maioria da renda e, em segundo plano, ter uma oportunidade de monetizar alguma outra coisa que ela goste de fazer, seja alguma habilidade inata, fotos, o seu cotidiano ou que seja escrever sobre os mais diversos assuntos, como muito de nós fazemos aqui. Fico com esta reflexão de como as coisas seriam difíceis de conquistar na web2, afinal, temos muitas métricas absurdas de altas para alcançar para tentarmos monetizar nosso canal.

Coisa essa que fazemos deste o nosso primeiro post por aqui e agora ainda temos o conteúdo curto, sejam as Threads, Snaps ou Waves, até isso podemos monetizar também. Sendo assim, o mesmo conteúdo curto que existe na maioria das outras redes, agora temos aqui também e, como dito, podemos monetizar de uma forma bem mais simples e rápida. Então, esse é um dos superpoderes que a Hive tem a oferecer para as pessoas comuns, simples, assim como sou, somente um pai de família, trabalhador, que não teria muitas chances de monetização na web2.

Agora que tenho uma certa audiência por aqui, fico eternamente agradecido por conhecer cada uma das pessoas que interagem comigo com uma certa frequência e fico até sem jeito de agradecer por isso, pois sei que às vezes não consigo dar um retorno para todas, ajudar da forma como gostaria, mas, sinto que agora posso tentar arriscar algo fora da Hive e com isso, o meu objetivo no X (antigo Twitter) é tentar monetizar por lá também, apesar do grande desafio que é conseguir superar as métricas que existem lá, acredito que está um pouco mais fácil agora, pois a Hive me proporcionou uma base solida que me faz sentir seguro para alcançar voos maiores.

Com isso, conseguir conquistar o meu espaço aqui primeiro também me ajudará a conquistar o meu espaço lá fora e é isso que faz a Hive ser mais incrível ainda, sendo o suporte financeiro e emocional de muitas pessoas comuns, sem nada de estrelismos ou padrinhos para nos ajudar. Somente o nosso esforço e foco sendo recompensados da melhor forma possível: trabalho duro e muita dedicação.
