Pen Drawing 231 Etienne

Hello friends!
This is my pen drawing for 231 Etienne

First, I draw the sketch of Etienne. I estimate and draw the saxophone. Then I draw the his head, hand and leg.

After I got the sketch, I started drawing dedail shades for saxophone.Because I think, this saxophone might be the most important part of Etienne' drawing. I have never seen such a big saxophone in my real life. I had to patient and draw slowly because the shades area of saxophone is large.

And then, I continued shading for Etienne's head and hand. I did'nt fill the shades completely dark because of I wanted to get light shades style for Soul.

After that, I drew shades for legs. Drawing shades with a pen requires patience. Because it is a pen, it cannot erase. Therefore, pen drawing can not be done when you can not concentrate. I studied Etienne's background because I wanted it to be unique. Then I had to work hard to draw a background pattern that I liked.bFinally, I finished my pen drawing. My drawing is not perfect. But I am appreciate of my original artwork.
