The Beauty of Touch Me not Flower
This morning, I saw bright pink flowers on the side of the street. They belonged to the Touch-me-not plant, scientifically called Mimosa pudica. Its pink color was very striking. Although interesting, Touch-me-not is a type of weed that disturbs farming areas. Farmers usually remove it to protect their crops and maintain their fields.
The beauty of the flower attracted my attention. I love capturing plants and flowers with my camera. I tried to catch the delicate side of its beauty through the lens, preserving the moment.
The sunlight added warmth to the scene. The tiny pink flowers seemed abandoned, left unnoticed by others. That was okay, because I had already captured their beauty and saved it in my photo collection.
Your beauty is unnoticed
On thorny stems, you’re left abandoned.
Yet, your beauty is true.
Though you are not cared for in a lovely pot,
Your color and charm will still be loved.
Bees and butterflies will come to you.
I walked home with pride, feeling grateful. Seeing the beauty of nature from a different perspective helps me appreciate the little things. It turns an ordinary walk into something special, allowing me to enjoy every moment when I am out and surrounded by life.
Nature is originally beautiful. Often, we are careless in shaping the scene. It's acceptable if we can preserve life, but sadly, we often end up destroying it. Our actions should protect nature, not harm it, for its beauty and balance are priceless.
