MONEY || EMOTIONS || PSYCHOLOGY: Go High or Go Hard
Two days ago I stumbled upon this scary news of A Crypto trader who committed suicide in his Lamborghini urus, over the losses of $19 Billion market crash, obviously the biggest crash in history, it's no longer news around the crypto communities of the incident, as major crypto were affected like Bitcoin, Etherum and Solana
source
Konstantin Garish is a high profile Ukrainian crypto influencer, widely known across all major crypto communities, he co-owned a crypto academy named cryptology key firm, were he teaches strategies of how to navigate the crypto world, the does and don't, how to master the market and a lots of other high end effective tools and concept he'd come up with and he has been outstandingly successful, widely known all throughout the crypto world.
Digital currencies bitcoin, ether and solana were among the most affected cryptocurrencies, bringing total liquidations to $18.28 billion as of 3:47 p.msource
the news of his sudden death came as a shock to everyone, found dead in his Lamborghini urus with a self inflicted gunshot wound to his head, obviously a suicide cause the gun was registered to him, while I've been busy running through X to gather what information I could get, I discovered that this dude is a high profiled crypto influencer with high reputation he's also managed a crypto assets worth $65M, hes one of the very first adopters of avanche and Solana project and following his profile he's spend most of his life devoted in crypto....
Now I get the message
with such a long years of devotion, dedication hardwork, consistency in building a reputation and a name then all of a sudden it all came crashing like a sand castle before his very eyes..... with years and years of investing and given in everything, it was a heavy blow below his groin that he couldn't stand it. .
reading through comments with lots of people blaming him for it why this and that, imagine taking your own life inside a Lamborghini urus, like the car alone is worth so much money plus if he could liquidate his most asset that would have given him leverage to start back up again, lots of options and opinion flying here and there, trying to put my self in his shoes having to. be struck with such a dead end, is suicide the last and only option to deal with it?
However it is said that the market meltdown in the crypto world is one of the deadliest ever in history, that has affected major crypto currency like Bitcoin, Etherum and Solana, with Bitcoin experiencing about 5 billion liquidation Etherum gone down by about 4billion and Solana by about 2billion, this heavy shake in market liquidation was caused by the tension that strikes between the Us and China Trade war, with President Trump threatening to add additional 100% tariffs on all China import and China issuing a warning statement that if the US Does nothing about this threats it will reciprocate, the moment that went off the market experience a major decline and liquidation like it's never had upto $18Billion with Btc Eth and sol being the most affected .
According to CNN BUSINESS REPORT
The psychology of money
I'm yet to read the book with the same tittle by Morgan Housel, I really have to because what just happened is something of great concern, was it possible Konstantin had hit the bottom rock of his entire life, was it that the tragedy that was coming was way bigger that it would have blew him straight to the abyss, $19 Billion worth of crypto gone is no small blow could anybody with such huge amount have stand it? such billions of dollars at stake in crypto and then one day it varnishes into Tin Air, personally I felt at that point nothing else matters devastated confused frustrated depressed by the situation of things at hand, would they have been any other alternatives other than taking his life?......

people often commit suicide in silence because obviously they have come to the end of the road, ran out of options and really believe there is no way out, that's not true, there is always a way out.
I felt very bad for him and I wish he'd reach out to anybody, I mean it would take another years to recover but definitely like my people would say when there is life there is Hope, I know it's look like it but suicide is not the last option to whatever there is, sometimes the market manipulation can really gets in to affects every fiber of our been affects our psychology to a very great extent and I'm sure that's exactly what happened with Konstantin Galish ....

That was a very sad one there...I felt for him. Many people even with lots of money are yet to master emotions. Its high time people approached crypto and forex with less expectations to avoid stories like this.
that's obviously the sad reality many live in today.... and money has a way of taking over ownership of the person....
thanks for stopping by
Reading this hit hard. But there’s something bothering me I can’t ignore.
You said Konstantin could’ve liquidated and restarted. Maybe. But imagine someone spending 10+ years building something they believed in—and it vanishes overnight. That’s not just financial loss, that’s identity crisis.
I think the real problem is this: crypto is an overly toxic space. When market’s green, everyone’s a genius. When it’s red? Suddenly everyone’s playing blame game, saying ‘should’ve had stop-loss,’ ‘should’ve diversified.’ Like people were supposed to predict Trump’s tweet would nuke everything?
What this community lacks isn’t sympathy—it’s empathy. Sympathy’s easy, but empathy means asking: if that was me, what would I have done?
you're definitely right on that, it's truly an identity crisis thing, seriously because such a huge amount $19 billion is no child's play, and I'm definitely sure other people's investment could have been there also ... then it's really hard i know he must have think deep and depressed of a way out but it's a very tragic loss
This transcends financial loss. When others' capital becomes tied to our judgment, failure ceases to be a mistake and becomes an identity collapse.
There's always a way out of every situation
As you said he might used some of his expensive things like the Lambo an get his money back
definitely there is a way out but thinking this alone will make people feel it's the end of the road for them and that's when depression gets the better of them
Or it may be that he has his personal reasons of doing so.
Sometimes people involves themselves in things that they can't express to others
That's a serious loss, now I see why every crypto value are very dip in the past few days. But suicide shouldn't have been the next option, it's a pity.
yeah .....I can't tell but we should learn to always speak up.... people are going through a lot out there
