How the Festive Season Gave Me a Much-Needed Break to Recharge

The festive period is such an important season that we all look forward to every year and it holds a special place in our minds because it offers that much-needed pause from the constant daily hustle and bustle. After several weeks and months of morning rush, tight schedules and all-year work, this short festive season gives us the opportunity to actually rest. The less rush and calm atmosphere that accompany the season is highly necessary (for someone like me).

Apart from the rest and relaxation that the season offer it is also a time to connect with loved ones. Families and friends create memories that strengthen their bonds by spending time together. This period is filled with so much fun activities as well as conversations about happenings over the year.

During the holidays, I visited Magicland Amusement Park in Abuja with my family and it was such an eventful and unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the entrance was colourfully decorated and the atmosphere was buzzing with both kids and adults having fun. The joyful mood was contagious as we quickly headed to the paypoint to grab our tickets. The gate fee and the fees for each of the games were quite affordable. This made us had more fun because we don't have to worry too much about our bank balance.

The gate fee cost #1500 per person and the games ranges from #1500 to #3000. Some of the games include pendulum, pirate ship, super spin, water splash, big worm, bouncing castle among others. One thing that stood out for me was the changes in Magicland since the last time I visited. The park looks new and modern with improved infrastructures. In other words, the efforts put into upgrading the park made it more attractive to us. Well, it was highly needed because it is the festive and many visitors will be coming from different part of the city and country.

So, we arrived at the park at about 1pm and before we knew it, time was around 5pm. The time flew so quick because we were carried away by the fun. It was one of those moments when you are carried away that you lost track of time as a result of excitement and loads of fun. We had time to sit down and gist about so many things as we also had side talks about other people lol.
