The big shift is here.

A big shift is coming to my life fairly soon. On the first of September I will move out of the apartment I live in and move back in with my parents.

This is going to be such an weird/interesting experience since I have been living on my or with friends for the past 12 years, so moving back home is going to be crazy.

But I believe change is good as long you kinda have a plan, you don't need to have set-in-stone plam, but a generelly direction is good and my generelly direction is to save up money 5x more than I do now and then buy my own place.

Preferable a house for myself and my future.
Another reason is living with friends is fun, but not something I want to do for the rest of my life no matter how "fun" it is. I got plans and ideas for house projects and the garden, growing my own food & living semi-offgrid etc.

With this big shift, I feel like I can buckle down and horne some more useful skills. Like building stuff, not big stuff, but small quality of life improvement stuff.

A few days later after I started this note, so I have moved. Everything went fine and I am setup again ^^
Now I just have to get used to the 1 hour train ride + the 15 minutes bike ride :D

I haven't biked in years, but that shit wakes you up. Also, I am danish, so biking is in my blood 8D haha.
But its good, its a good fresh start to get some better habits going!

That sounds like a very interesting change to your life. I wonder if you or your parents will find it more difficult to adapt to the changes 😉

aha really great to live with family is really good, but in India, this is really a common thing. Now married couples do leave their parent that is not a bad thing. 🙂

Its not normally :D

Most people move out when they are 18 ^^
I moved out when I was 20 and is 32 now, so moving back home is interesting xD

It sounds like you have a clear goal in mind, which is to save up money and buy your own place. That's a great goal, and I'm sure you'll be able to achieve it with hard work and determination.

I can understand why you might be feeling a little weird about moving back home after living on your own for so long. But I think it's important to remember that this is just a temporary step on your journey. You're not giving up on your dreams, you're just taking a break to regroup and save up some money.
